Pretty cool place, I will say they’re extremely over priced but a cool place to say the least. If you’re from the south, you’ll experience a culture shock. The only thing I didn’t like was that I was ordering some singles and I managed to get two, I unfortunately ran into another card that I wanted while browsing online and when I went to ask the person wearing the black mask I was rudely told that there were customers behind me and basically that they took priority. I didn’t realize that I wasn’t a customer although I was ordering product from the store and hadn’t checked out yet, I ran into a card worth $700 that I wanted to complete a deck I’m building and personally I felt like complete shit after that interaction. Seems that I wasn’t a customer per that person wearing the black mask. There were plenty of people behind the counter including one with red hair that the black mask person could’ve asked to take them while my cards were being searched for. Not to mention, the person with red hair told me they charged for lands but an older lady told me several days after that they don’t charge for lands if it’s 10 and under. Not sure where the money is going for the lands that I paid for but but as a business owner myself I would look into it because it’s extremely shade that I was being charged for stuff that per the black hair lady weren’t charged unless you wanted a massive order of lands. The person in the black mask told me as well that next time I could order online and wait about an hour. If you’re that lazy to complete orders from customers that are in the store trying to buy than you shouldn’t work in customs service, you’re getting paid to do a job I shouldn’t have to order anything online and wait an hour to get my item while I’m physically present in the establishment nor should I be any less important than any other customer just because I am ordering singles but I do appreciate you for saving me $700. Asides from that person being rude, everyone else was extremely well mannered and the experience in general...
Read moreI came in 2-3 weeks ago hoping to sell them my bulk Pokemon collection that I’ve been saving since I was a kid. There were a couple mint ones in there that I wanted to get PSA graded. Like holographics such as: (feraligatr, wailord ex, mr.mime ex and a mewtwo). When I got my cards back they were all bent down the middle like someone had bent them while looking at them and handling them in their palm. I spoke to the general manager Ron and he tried telling me it was due to the moisture in the air. I had them all stored in a binder before I brought them. Now I have to hope these cards will straighten out after I put them in sleeves and top loaders. Very disappointed and not satisfied. What am I supposed to do with bent cards now? They were all flat to begin with. I feel like these guys bent them while handling them. I’m not buying that moisture spiel. I specifically and purposely took out 3 mint holographic cards (shining tyranitar unlimited, golem reverse holo and atricuno ex) all of these cards are still mint and without bends. I really don’t know what to do with the bulk now since they are now in worse condition. I even offered to sell my cards to them all for 50% face value once I noticed they came back bent. If you’re not going to buy bulk cards then don’t advertise it. I didn’t get a single offer on a single one of my cards. Here’s a pic of the last card before I throw it in a sleeve and top loader to hopefully straighten the card. Now they are all in...
Read moreVery rarely does one find a complete top notch game store, along with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've been to my fair share of board game / tcg stores and this is by far my and my families favorite. We come here all the way from NY and it has a HUGE selection of board and card games. The biggest we've seen between PA, NY, and CT.
Earlier today we stopped in, as soon as we walked in, an employee over heard us talking about D&D and told us a funny story about their own D&D experience. I walked to the back and asked another employee about a FAB game mat and if they were for sale. They said they don't sell them and are given away during a game tournaments. Another employee over heard our conversation and basically reiterated FAB doesn't sell their game mats and only gives them away. They then said they will be right back and came back and handed me a game mat from the back that they had used during a tournament.
When we checked out, the same employee helped us out and took a few minutes to explain to me and my son the differences between all the Flesh and Blood sets and their hero's.
As someone who has worked in customer support for 15+ years, it's these little things that I really appreciate and makes a customer for life.
5/5 for each employee...
