Lamprey Health Care — Local services in Newmarket

My family and I have been going to Lamprey Health care in Newmarket fro over 20 years. We have been very happy with all of the staff including the people who welcome you thru the door, nurses, nurse practitioners, and of course the doctors. Even with changes of personnel, we have felt comfortable with whoever we might see!!!

All of my questions were answered and everybody was very professional and thorough. Caile Roy seemed to be as happy as I was about my lab results,which made me feel comfortable with my 2nd meeting with her.

On Tuesday 4/4 I met Dr Boyd and everything went very smoothly in the temporary offices. Dr. Boyd was very professional and covered everything including my lab reports & the physical I came in for. The nurses were very nice, too.

This was a second appointment I had since I wrote the original post. Under the circumstances since they have flooding troubles so have had to do a lot of construction going on in the main building. I have seen 2 doctors and felt comfortable with both. Everyone has been fantastic seeing patients the best they can. Thank you all for your care and professionalism!!

I just had a follow up appointment after a bone density scan. Dr. Boyd was very professional giving me different options and explaining what he thought would be best. I feel very comfortable talking with Dr. Boyd and all of the staff at Lamprey Health Care!!

I got a last minute appointment and was very pleased with seeing Casey. Everyone has always been very good at Lamprey Healthcare!!

I've been going to Lamprey Health Care since 1990 I have always had great experiences with the staff and everybody I come in contact with there.. This was my first intake visit after I moved to Newmarket, NH and needed a closer medical practice. As I entered the parking lot, the closest building was directly off the street, labeled Admin1 and Admin2. I tried both doors but they were locked. So, I drove across the parking lot to a larger building at the back, and, voila! The doors were open and accessible there. So, I went in and looked for a front desk, which was apparent after walking through a security door. Where I waited for someone to check me in, which happened fairly quickly.

I saw Dr. Boyd Tamanaha, MD. He is a young doctor who was very friendly and thorough going through my medications, medication allergies, and my conditions. He was also very interested in getting my records transferred from several other medical practices that I see for specialties and my former PCP, who is in another part of New Hampshire.

I then checked out at the front desk, making my first physical appointment and starting to fill out my records transfer requests. It quickly became clear that I needed to complete my medical records transfers at home. So, they emailed me the online access point for doing that, and I left with a great impression of everyone who tried to help me!
