Second Time Around — Local services in Newport News

When I originally called stated that a bedroom set I seen on Facebook market place he had posted an ad for was still available. I drove 35 minutes to look at it stated the store opened at 10 however he wasn't there when 10 came and the other person I guess who works there told us no that set has been sold gave us one price for a bedroom set yet was listed on marketplace for 100 dollars cheaper. Ended up settling for another bedroom set but wasn't too sure on gave the guy the money and he wrote a receipt for it told him we would pick up next day. Called back less than an hour explaining that the set was not going to work for us and the owner refused to give us our money back stated we could get store credit. Stated since that was the only option stated that would be fine get there the next day and the guy isn't there to even provide how much store credit we would receive after getting furniture the drawers don't even go in or align extremely poor funiture. I was interested in a recliner based on one they had for sale on Facebook Marketplace. I contacted the owner today via messenger for address. He gave me the details. I arrived at 11:10 am. It was freezing, and I use a wheelchair. No lights, no other signs except for the regular business hours. Open at 10. Since it was starting to snow, I loaded back up and looked up the number phone number for the store. I mentioned that he could have told me the store was closed in our communication. It would have been the kind thing to do, since he knew I was driving quite a distance. His response was "12-5" via facebook messenger. I purchased a couch, before the couch was delivered i was told to send photos of my door frame to the seller which i did. I was never notified of the measurements of the couch and the seller sent back a text of the thumbs up so i was sure he knew the couch would fit. The delivery driver arrived and wouldn’t even help bring the couch inside. When we pulled the couch out of the truck the couch was dirty, stains and dirt that the seller never mentioned and never took pictures of. We were going to excuse the dirt and get the couch shampooed however the couch would not fit in the door. We called the seller and sent a text the very same night saying that we could not use the couch at all because we couldn't get it in the house.
