BOVA Furniture — Local services in Norcross

To be fair, we loved the contemporary furniture from Bova, and so we bought furniture for almost every room in our house from this store. However, we are utterly disappointed with the warranty conveniently offered by the sales person for each furniture set. We had a small puncture in furniture which is covered by the warranty. After several months of conversations with the warranty service center of ServeCo International – the warranty service of Bova – they denied the claim with a vague reason. From the start, the tone of the representatives was, hey we’ve ripped you off, there is no way we will cover anything. The inspector who showed up agreed that the warranty covers the puncture, but again they denied it without giving any convincing reason. When I called the warranty service center, I was told that there is nothing they can do. This is the worst customer service experience we have had so far. The absolute WORST customer service ever. I ordered a sofa in mid-February and was told it might take 14-16 weeks to be delivered. It is now August and I still don’t have it (they, however, were very quick to get a down payment from me). I have called them every week for the last 2 months and am told EVERY TIME that I would have it next week and that someone would call me. I never once got a call from them. We love stressless furniture by Ekornes, ordering this brand for the second time because of its high quality, comfort, and appearance. Bova associate Rosa was wonderful at the time of the sale. Maybe of more importance is that we decided the large chair we ordered was too large, but it was special order. Store policy printed on the receipt says no returns; however, Bova (and Rosa) was committed to our satisfaction and have worked with us to secure what we want.
