BEWARE!! RIPOFF!! TJ will overcharge you every chance he gets. Service is very poor plus poor communication around time when product arrives and what was ordered.
I ordered a coffee table and rug here from a salesperson, TJ. I was told the coffee table would take 2 to 3 weeks to come in and the rug would take 2 to 3 days to come in. Was charged 740 dollars for the coffee table (which is very expensive for a coffee table but since the table was exactly what we wanted AND I was on a time restraint because I needed the table by the 4th week for a party I figured it was worth it). I also ordered an 8x10 rug to be ordered and delivered to their warehouse in 2 to 3 days.
Well they never called to let us know that the rug came in but we figured hey let's just pick it up when they let us know the coffee table is ready. I call a week prior to expected arrival of the coffee table just to check on the status. We find out then that the coffee table was an NEW item not in their catalog yet and would take 2 to 3 months to come in so they offered us the display!! Are you kidding me? We waited 3 weeks to get the display..NO! It doesn't help that we didn't get one call to make us aware. We ended up canceling the order on the coffee table and getting our money back.
But OH, it gets better. The 8x10 rug that we communicated to TJ to order for us was a scam too. TJ ordered the 5x8 and charged us the 8x10 price. YES you heard it we got charged $714 dollars for a 5x8 rug when the cost was really $499. Because we didn't notice this on our invoice at first we almost got ripped off. However, after returning the coffee table and doing the difference between what was spent and the cost of the table there was still $714 dollars it looked like we spent so we started asking questions. We are currently in the process of trying to get a refund for the carpet. We asked for the owner but of course we can never get that number. I just hope the owner knows how shady his sales people are because they are probably scamming lots of people out of money and they don't even notice. This has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and the most frustrating. I would recommend EVERYONE to steer clear. There are plenty of other furniture stores on Jimmy Carter Blvd. besides this establishment that deliver on their promises, communicate effectively, and offer better service when problems arise. I had searched for months for bedroom furniture in stores like Macey's, Haverty's, etc. Furniture options at these places weren't what I was looking for. I finally found something I liked from a manufacturer online called Modus; I had my heart set on their Adler collection. There were lots of internet retailers that sold the brand but I was very hesitant to order something with a high price tag like this from a source with no local storefront. Unique Interiors was fortunately listed as a local dealer. I ventured in and met with Julio who was more than happy to help! He called me back with pricing and lead time when he said he would and I made the purchase. About 4 weeks later, while I was prepared for the dreaded Covid delay, Julio surprised me with a call stating that my furniture had shipped from CA and he would call me as soon as it arrived in GA. I got a call a week later and was told it could be delivered to me the next day! My husband received the delivery and said the delivery guys were very courteous and polite and treated the furniture and our home with great care. No furniture or wall damage. It was the most expensive set that we ever bought and we were very excited about having it in our new house. At first, they told us that if we paid in cash, the sale tax would be forgiven but it turned out, they still charged us all the taxes. Fine! We wanted to set and still had it shipped home. Immediately after delivery, we found out that the both the sofa and the loveseat got DAMAGES in them. DAMAGES ON ITALIAN LEATHERS! The loveseat's handles got dents in them which indicated that it already was seated in and a HOLE on the sofa which was patched a a paint touch. We called the store for some explanation but they just plain denied and refused to refund or even an exchange. This is the worst store ever. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!! There is no misunderstanding here.
