My husband and I booked for two tickets in advance to watch Kraven the Hunter on 12/17/24. What a horrible and terrible experience. When we booked for the tickets, we selected our seats and they send us the confirmation through email. We were so happy going in to watch the movie as it is our first time to this cinema. On the confirmation email it shows our seats F8 and F9 at Aud 10. We checked in and went straight to the auditorium relaxing to watch the movie. To our surprise couple came in stating that we are sitting on their seats. I was confused because our tickets shows we are on the right seats and the auditorium as well. Noting knowing they have changed the auditorium from 10 to 2 without sending us any email, calling us or telling us when we checked in. We went to auditorium 2 sat on our seats F8 and F9 since we have booked the tickets already. To our surprise again we got kicked out because the auditorium 2 was fully booked and they have two front rows for us. We have booked this tickets in advance and they didn’t save our seats for us because we are not members for this cinema and probably we are blacks.We don’t like front rows that’s why we booked in advance we selected our seats to avoid unwanted scenes. My husband and I were kicked out as if we just walked in to watch the movie without paying for it. The saddest thing was that some people were even laughing at us as if we were there for free. Read moreWent on Christmas Day to do a double feature. Arrived at 3:30pm to buy tickets for a 3:40pm show. Was waiting in line and the theatre had 2 cashiers working guest services. The gentleman who was working was extremely polite and helpful, but the woman who was working at this time, was extremely rude to all customers and did not seem to have a clue what she was doing. Waiting to be the next one up, the woman initially started to step away and say she needed to take her break, but then looked at the line again, and made it every customers fault that she couldn't step away for her break. When I got to the counter, I asked to get tickets for 2 separate movies, which she said were both sold out. The gentleman overheard her and quickly told her that neither show was sold out and to look at the available seats. When I finally went to pay for the tickets, I was yelled at by the employee for accidentally selecting the wrong payment method. When we finally got to the first movie everything went well, and then during the 2nd film, one of the seats was not reclining properly. Was able to hit the seat to unjam the buttons and get it to work, but brought it to the attention of another employee who said that it would be tough to change seats. Read moreI recently visited the North Attleboro Showcase Cinemas for a 6:45 showing of "Dune 2" and had a mixed experience. On the bright side, the theater itself was clean, and the movie was fantastic, offering a great viewing experience. However, there were several drawbacks that negatively impacted my visit.
The pretzels available for purchase were far from satisfactory. Not only did they fall short in flavor, but they also did not live up to the standard I expect from cinema snacks. Moreover, I was taken aback to see an employee vaping right in the food service area, which raised concerns for both hygiene and the overall environment, especially considering the presence of families and young children.
Another considerable discomfort was the temperature in Theater 3. Despite multiple patrons voicing their discomfort due to the heat being turned on, the staff did not address these complaints. This lack of action showed a disregard for customer comfort and satisfaction.
While the cleanliness of the cinema and the quality of the film were redeeming factors, the negative aspects of my experience were too significant to overlook.
