We came for a concert at the Xfinity Center. We booked through a third party. HUGE mistake. We were put in a room right next to the Electric Room and Elevators. Both of which we could hear nonstop, day and night. Room 220. My elderly, disabled mother didn't want to change rooms, whereas she'd already settled in, prior to learning everything. Our AC didn't work in nearly 90° humid weather. I literally had to wear a neck fan to sleep! There was black mold on the AC. My bed wasn't made properly; the top sheet was bundled in the right, bottom corner. Neither of their charging ports worked (there's supposed to be two). I had to pay extra for special internet just for my phone to work. The front desk was somewhat friendly and they offered mints and cookies upon checkin, and coffee, decaf coffee, tea, decaf tea, and hot cocoa in the evening. We went to the "Continental Breakfast" at 9:30AM (it ran through 10AM) and there was literally nothing left. We were going to try and use the pool but felt so defeated we just gave up. We were supposed to have late check out until 3pm but we had to leave at 1pm. The TV offers Netflix if you already have an account to sign in to, which was nice, I suppose. I'm guessing in a regular room, not booked through a third party, you'd have a much different experience. Regardless, the housecleaning comes EVERY OTHER day which made me worried that our room wasn't properly cleaned before our arrival. That top sheet being bunched in the bottom corner made me very suspicious. What properly done hotel housecleaning doesn't have a properly made bed?! Couple that with the noises, AC not working properly, black mold, and charging port issues, the room was DEFINITELY NOT worth what we paid for and neither was the experience. (Sounds silly, but we really wanted and needed that Continental Breakfast after having gone to a concert the previous night. It also would've been nice to enjoy the pool.) We ended up having to use food delivery services twice. If you're going to stay at this hotel, make sure you book with them, and NOT a third party I guess. We'd never stay...
Read moreMy 3yo, small dog & myself were treated with the utmost respect from the very start of check-in. The stay was lovely—effortless checkin, great breakfast, great indoor pool (I was told on the phone that the pool was unheated & due to only having about 2 exceptionally warmer New-England-days near the time of our stay, I assumed that my toddler—who loves to swim—still wouldn’t want to get in. We gave the pool a shot anyway & it was very warm & enjoyable. Opened from 9-9. Awesome). In fact, our whole stay was exceptional. We only stayed one night but it was a memorable stay for some reason. I believe that it was due to many of the little details that make a stay feel top notch. I liked that the pet-friendly rooms were on the top floor. (I’m not sure if any room is “pet friendly”; that was just where our room was assigned). When it comes to any good, comparable hotel that would be around the same nightly rate or more— like I said, this hotel, despite the duration of our stay, just stood out. Well priced. Plus all the little details via cleanliness, design & the quality of the hotel’s overall amenities (not to mention the staff!) were simply above & beyond what is to be expected. I did not use the gym but when I peeked in, it was very well done with lots to choose from. (I was surprised even). Also, the room! Everything was great. Comfy, stylish, spacious, well-kept. We probably won’t be in this precise area again for another stay, but if so, very likely I would stay again. For kids, there are some terrific, large parks & playgrounds close by, within 5+ minutes or so from the hotel. Loved every moment. It’s been about a week since our overnight stay and my toddler keeps randomly mentioning the “hotel with sprinkle pancakes & pool”. So, yes. Excellent. Again, comparably, this hotel stood out to me. Especially for someone who is most often...
Read more11-24-22 my wife and I stayed at the knights inn at north Attleboro Massachusetts.| They are obviously doing renovations on the site, but fall short of making it feel comfortable.| When we walked in the room, the heat and the smell made me want to turn around and get my money back.| Then I tried to turn on the TV and couldn't find the remote. | We were just checking in and taking our bags out of the car and heading back to our daughter's house so I stopped back to the office and got a remote. When we returned the remote didn't operate the television, but did the cable. It was still quite warm in the room even though I had turned the thermostat down before we had left, and of course the smell was still there. Then I noticed that the room didn't have any night stand lamps.| So I turned the heat all the way down, and we went to bed on the way to firm bed.| I woke up a couple of hours later sweating my @$$ off. I opened the window (34 out) and went back to sleep. | I could see that they are trying to fix the place up, but they are falling way short.| I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with our a big warning. Don't expect much but a bed they...
