Save A Lot — Local services in North Charleston

It was a very long time since I have shopped at this location, but overall I had a pleasant visit. Everyone was friendly. The store was clean and organized accordingly.

Customer service was fantastic from everyone working. I was taken care of in a timely manner. I was able to get selected items at a reasonable price. The squash, zucchini, green bell peppers, and onions was a great selection in preparation for my meals. The cabbage that I purchased was very fresh and reasonably priced per pound.

All staff worked efficiently and help me and others with our purchase. I was also helped by a gentleman and was taken care of accordingly. When the line was back up a young lady open a register before ending her shift.

It is definitely an unique experience. The store is a DISCOUNT store, everything about this store screams cheap. If you are looking to save money grocery shopping and are on an extremely low budget this is the place for you. The store is dirty and totally unorganized. The staff is sort of ghetto friendly, meaning they aren't rude but they do not go out of the way to please anyone. Also there must be a high volume of shoplifting here because they treat everyone like theives, demanding anyone carrying a bag slightly larger than normal leave it up front. Lol. Also if name brands impress you bypass this store. NOTHING is made by a brand you have ever heard of. Overall I would only enter this establishment under extreme duress, an absolute...

It's nice and neat. The restrooms are generally clean, every time I go there.. But some of the meat prices are overpriced seriously. The cashiers are nice and help with any and everything you ask or if they see that you need help they'll help... Now as far as the other commentator said above about the store being nasty or ghetto, someone and that person may have had an altercation or something.. I feel like that's a grudge comment honestly.. I never worked at any save-a-lot nor do I know anyone who does, but I am a paying customer who has shopped at these stores since I was a little girl who was riding to a new fresh smelling store as save-a-lot..... other than the prices on meats and certain other...
