OK lunch place. Very fresh everything and making a custom salad or wrap is pretty easy. Sometimes they put waaaaaaaaaay too much oil/sauce/whatever on it though. I usually get takeout and if I get it cut in half the oil is "released" for lack of a better term and the result is just a gross mess. You have to order it not cut and eat it top down, removing the foil as you go.
The parking is also not great. Sometimes they park a truck behind the place while they unload stuff and there's not enough room to turn around and try to get out the way you came in. You basically have to park in the adjacent empty lot if you want to make sure you won't be stuck there while you unload stuff. This isn't a one time issue either, it's happened to me twice. I always order the Create Your Own salad so that I can hand choose the ingredients. I ordered today and they picked one of their standard salads and just threw the extra ingredients I had requested on the top. The result was I paid a good deal of money for, after delivery charges, that I couldn't eat. To make matters worse, I ordered peaches on my salad and the salad that arrived had a peach pit beautifully centered at the top of the salad for all to see. I tried to call them to tell them of the problem with the salad. Unfortunately, the number rang through to a line that the message said was not able to receive phonecalls. Upon entering, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. I had to initiate interaction to place my order. At checkout, when I said ‘thank you,’ the response was a dismissive ‘Yea’ without eye contact or warmth, which felt unwelcoming.
I appreciate the effort to provide nutritious choices in the area, and I’d love to support local businesses that prioritize both health and hospitality. However, the lack of basic courtesy made the visit disappointing. I hope the team can address these service gaps, as a friendly environment is just as important as the food itself.
