Brothers' BBQ Food Truck — Local services in North Chicago

HORRENDOUS. I review dozens upon dozens of retail food establishments per year. This was a new low.

My family and many families from my block attended the Cary fireworks yesterday. 4 food trucks were present including Brother's BBQ Food Truck. The line was over 80 people long in front of us.

We got up to the front after just over an hour, and we learned they were out of everything on the menu except fries, cheese curds, and chicken tenders. No BBQ whatsoever. No person coming back to warn patrons, no announcements. After we ordered, and were waiting on our food the next family of three stepped up and ordered and were told they only had fries and cheese curds left. The line is now over 250 people long. No one approached these poor people to tell them their 1+ hour wait was for nothing that there was no food left. No apologies, no coupons, IUOs, rainchecks, or anything. When I spoke to the young man at the counter about it he pointed at the older gentleman in the truck and said "its his business, we also have a truck out at Crystal Lake's Lakeside Fest" I asked if they'd run out too, he shrugged his shoulders. I decided to try the "Hot Brother", a crispy chicken sandwich with pickles, coleslaw, and chipotle ranch. My wife order the loaded waffle fries with the BBQ pork. My sandwich came out piping hot and was nice and juicy when I bit into it. The bun wasn't warmed or grilled, which to me would what I would ask for next time. The loaded nacho fries were to die for and definitely a must order item to share as the serving size is perfect to share among friends. We recently catered a family party with Brothers’ BBQ, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The entire ordering process was quick and convenient, making it stress-free to plan our event. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout items like their ribs, which were to die for, and the pulled pork and brisket, both of which were incredibly flavorful. I can’t forget the mac & cheese - WOW! The BBQ sauce was out of this world, adding the perfect touch to an already fantastic meal. As first-time customers, we were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be catering more parties with them....
