Ordered a cake for my daughter, the whole thing was just a mess! I asked for a qtr sheet cake and they gave me and charged for a half sheet cake. On top of that they spelled my daughters name wrong! How in the world someone can spell her name wrong is beyond me its very simple but they did. When I spoke to the manager he told me they can fix the name and when it comes to the cake not being the smaller size, I just have to deal with it and pay for a cake that is $15 more then the one I wanted... Now I work in customer service and that is definitely not the way you handle something when your employees make a mistake like this. I'm not rich by any means and really didn't have the extra money to pay for a cake bigger then I ordered. I did not make a huge fuss about this, spoke very calmly to this man. I did pay for it though, it's for my baby how could I not, but how dare you Mr. Manager not properly deal with your paying customers problem. It's all about customer satisfaction right? Well this customer is extremely dissatisfied and will never step foot in your...
Read moreI don't like to leave reviews especially bad ones. I was not having a good day and I thought it was evident. I needed 2 small things and I even struggled to find them. Once I did, I went to the cashier, Billie. They did not look up. They did not greet me. I said hello with barely a response from them. She looked completely miserable. When I went to run my card I had grabbed the wrong one. Instead of making lite of it she snipped at me telling me it didn't go through. She was not helpful, patient or kind. She acted as if I was a problem.
I was later assisted by someone else entirely at the costumer service desk and Owen was empathetic, calming and understanding. We exchanged pleasantries and he agreed with me that it is ridiculous that when using certain forms of payment you have to say the amount on them. That shames the person using them. He understood. I am very grateful for his help and patience.
I hope Billie's day gets better because she certainly...
Read moreFrom the time that I first moved into the area this has been my chief go-to source for groceries. That habit has shifted a little bit in the past few years after COVID-19 came along, but still I shop here on a fairly regular, routine basis, and frankly, I'd be at a bit of a loss in the unthinkable scenario of the store ever closing. It's very well organized and always clean; the staff are friendly and welcoming. As far as I'm concerned the prices are very reasonable, and maybe even better relative to other stores; even compared to area competitors I think Shop 'n Save has a strong variety of items on its shelves. And to top it all off, I think their business hours are longer and more lax compared to other places where I might shop; given their very convenient location to boot, if I need to grab a small something, this is still the place I go without fail. Simply put, if you're looking for groceries, I don't think you can go wrong with...
