ABL Beauty Lounge — Local services in North Huntingdon Township

I recently had an awful hair experience at ABL. I went in to get a root touch up, extension move up, and the harsh edges trimmed at the bottom of my extensions. I also addressed the differences between the cool tones and warm tones in my hair, I just wanted the colors to match. My extensions were removed, and the root color and foils were added. The assistant washed out my color and no one checked to see if my foils were lifted properly. After the color was complete, I was not happy. The color and toner were applied without my extensions in, so the color did not match. Since the extensions were not straightened, she could not tell that there were harsh edges that needed fixed. I was told to come back next time with them straightened, then she would trim the hair because the stylist hates to blow dry extensions. I was so unhappy that I was fighting back tears and shaking. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the appointment, I was told I did not have hair knowledge and I would have to come back in another day to get it fixed. I was also told to come back for color in between move ups, which when previously asked I was told it would be easier to do at the time of move up. I paid over 300 dollars and left in tears. 12 days later, on Christmas my extensions slipped almost completely out and I messaged the stylist right away. I was told she was with family and would message me and schedule me the next day. The stylist never messaged me for a new appointment. The extensions are to last about 6 weeks and didn’t even last a full 2. I am disappointed, angry, and upset I wasted my money. The situation was handled very unprofessionally. I reached out to another stylist at Siren Salon, also in Irwin, who listened to exactly what I wanted. I booked a last minute appt to get my eyelashes done by Lexi, three days before my wedding. I had booked with another stylist at a different business and she cancelled on me last minute, leaving me stranded before my wedding. Lexi was SO accommodating and professional. She finished my lashes in 30 minutes and they looked amazing. I told her that my spray tan appt also got cancelled leaving me stranded AGAIN three days before my wedding. ABL is such a vibe. All the girls here are so nice and chill. I had the pleasure of working with Tessa on my wedding day. She was AMAZING!! So chill, so nice and so talented. I did two hair trials with her and she made me feel so comfortable even when I was so indecisive on what I wanted my hairstyle to be lol. She didn't mind at all and was very helpful during the whole process. She killed it on my hair the day of my wedding and all of my bridesmaids' hair.
