China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in North Huntingdon Township

If you want a GREAT restaurant that serves oriental cuisine this is my suggestion. The owners are Great! very much like family (very pleasant, patient, polite, and yet professional) their staff are hard workers and do a fantastic job with all your requests. You always are greeted with a warm and friendly smile every time you visit. They even have their own individual sushi chef who carries out your orders within a separate area (Sushi Bar) located directly in the front of the restaurant but, remains in plane view throughout the time you are waiting for your order. Very nice to see. Their menu is fabulous and has a variety of chicken beef, pork, and seafood. They also offer plenty of vegetables and even garnish your plate with a radish rose, (edible too! and very tasty). Now, ice water is offered but, they brew a Great! pot of tea. They also offer beverages/soda, or (alcohol) for those individuals who may be celebrating an anniversary or birthday , etc, Our choice is the pot of tea which goes great with any choice on the menu. I do want to tell you to request the spring rolls: shrimp or chicken. The owner makes them herself fresh daily. They are so very light and crunchy. Fabulous.! WOW! I'm getting hungry for a meal there and I am just writing about it. WOW! Time to visit again. White rice, Brown rice, your choice. At the time they bring you the bill you each get a individual wrapped fortune cookie too! Which is nice to hold onto until you get home and your stomach has a chance to settle down some or you can save it for a later time. You are going to love it here and keep on returning for MORE, MORE, MORE... Delicious food, Great service, Fantastic...

So I've been going here for the last few years once maybe twice a month spending anywhere from 40 to $60. For the most part the food is decent to very good. Never really had a subpar meal until today, and when I did they did correct the issue in the past. Typically if something is not good management will remove the item as they can see the customer was not satisfied. This however was not the case today. I notified them that our meal was not as it should have been and requested it be removed as for there was not even a total of a quarter cup gone because it was not good. ( a very simple dish hard to mess up, but nonetheless it was bad) The manager I guess, a woman would not even come to our table to see what the issue was she simply told the server nobody has complained at all today, and to not remove the $17 meal from our bill.

A simple note to Peter, because of this action with her I will not be revisiting your establishment. Perhaps my $700 to $1,200 a year in sales was worth $17.00.

And before all you Google reviewers try starting to bash me, think back to a time when you had a meal or service that was not good and you did not eat did a server take it off for you? Did the management apologize? Or did the management cowardly avoid you?

Myself and my family are not complainers but will let you know if something is wrong as should anybody. I'm a very generous tipper, I understand things happen. I'm a fan on doing what is right...

WOW! This place is GREAT!!!!!!! First patrons last night. The outside of the building was beautiful and very welcoming. From outside; the restaurant has high class look. Upon entrance we were greeted; the inside was just as stunning as the outside. The decor is lovely. The restaurant is clean and very well maintained. We were seated by a very sweet lady, who happened to also be the owner. What a nice woman, loved her kindness. We were welcomed by our server Abby - another really sweet kind soul young lady. We order a sushi roll, won ton soup, mee fun, sweet and sour chicken and white sauce chicken and veggies. The food presentation was spot on, it looked beautiful (each dish) and everything tasted great. Abby (the server) would checked on us and make sure everything was to our liking. The best part, she filled my water glass without me having to ask. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will not only return for more awesome dishes to try, we will also do take out from here. Bottom line - if looking for a fantastic atmosphere, incredible staff, sweet owner and delicious Chinese food - come here!!!! -- you may run...
