I’ve always enjoyed visiting Crave Cookies—it’s a nice place, and I usually love their cookies. However, I had a disappointing experience during my most recent visit.

I came in yesterday and ordered a few cookies, including two of their new Chocolate Salted Caramel cookies, along with a classic Chocolate Chip and the Waffle Cone cookie. While the chocolate chip and waffle cone cookies were great—firm, flavorful, and easy to break apart—the Salted Caramel ones really missed the mark.

Both of the Salted Caramel cookies were extremely mushy in the center, to the point where I couldn’t even pick them up without them falling apart. I had to use a fork to attempt to eat them. Neither me or my husband were able to complete the cookies because they were just too mushy .The edges were slightly crisp, but the rest of the cookie seemed underbaked. On top of that, they were overwhelmingly sweet, which I suspect was due to them not being fully baked through.

These cookies aren’t cheap, so it’s frustrating not to get the quality I’ve come to expect. I would appreciate either a replacement for the Salted Caramel cookies or a refund, as I really want to continue supporting Crave—but...

The cookies here are bomb, 100%. I've been here twice now. Here's how my recent visit went.

They were promoting a new Dubai strawberry cup that sounded great on the billboard but what I got was a cup of strawberries with yummy chocolate sauce drizzled over them and a little bit of the crunchy sprinkles. You can see in the photos that it's not layered and the only pistachio sauce is about a teaspoon at the bottom. Luckily I love strawberries and chocolate so I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Then I tried their Dubai Chocolate cookie that's supposed to be stuffed with the pistachio sauce and kaufta(crunchy stuff). As you can see in the photos, there really isn't much in there. The chocolate cookie was delicious though.

This place is a once in a great while treat for me but today was a miss compared to my first visit. Pass on the strawberry cup and stick to the cookies.

Service is bare minimum, don't expect a smile or greeting. It's a weird vibe in there. Floors were dirty/wet but no sign. It's a huge space and randomly arranged. It looks unfinished. This is a pickup-and-go place, not somewhere you can sit and enjoy your treats.

In summary, the product is good here, the atmosphere...

I stopped in to get a box of cookies for a graduation party. Sounds easy enough but I quickly realized I was in over my head and didn't know where to start. Thank goodness for Macy, who intuitively assessed my confusion and politely guided me in the right direction. I took her suggestions and the cookies were the hit of the party! Everyone raved about how fresh and delicious the cookies were and complimented me for the idea. Thank you Crave for the cookies and for employing people like Macy. You can teach people to do many things but You can't teach people to genuinely care about another person's problem, to instinctively understand unspoken cues, or to naturally exude warmth and sincerity. It may sound exaggerated but not to an awkward introvert like myself. For me it's the difference between making a purchase or walking away. For me,...

I love this place so much and I am here pretty regularly. Everything is great up until customer service. More so from one person, from what I have noticed. And usually it’s been okay but recently we have been getting drinks back wrong, from size to flavors to soda base. We get told our total before being asked if we wanted anything else. And from this employee rather than feeling welcomed we feel as if we are inconveniencing them by walking into the store even though it is usually hours before closing time. As well as only when served by this one employee our cups seemed to be filled to the rim with ice so it’s more watery and has almost no actual liquid. With these things that keep happening I may start making the extra drive to the Decatur location.
