Mood - Bakery Items of Course
Sometimes the idea of just knowing you'll savor baked goods brings a sense of peace to me. And I'll admit the convenience on not having to travel far too appease my pallette makes the desire that much more.
Upon entering was quickly greeted. There was a small line which was expected as they just opened. Once it became our turn we were given the run down of what was available and what was not. Almost everything was already gone. Which is a very good sign.
Opted for that croissant of course, Taro MT, and a Hokkaido MT. That croissant lived up to what I imagined in my mind. I took my time and slowly devoured it.
Interior is quaint. There are 2 tables. Music was playing in the background. Everything was very clean. The staff was very courteous. If you are looking to dine inside I would suggest getting there early.
Would recommend- pricing was reasonable. As it is brand new, I hope the customer service remains this consistent as it was very friendly. Our valley is very hit or miss with that new a days.

Read moreI was extremely excited to visit this place for the first time since a co-worker brought some in. The lady that helped me made sure I won't be coming back. I mentioned I was glad they have a veteran discount and I'm eligible before I made our order. I purchased 2 dozen mochi donuts and 3 drinks. I didn't think to ask about the discount and tapped to pay. I asked if the discount was included and the lady said I can use it next time. I requested to have the transaction cancelled so we can process it with the discount and she refused.
Additionally, the 2 boxes were not distributed evenly. I asked for 2 dozen with 3 of each flavor. I was gifting a box to my sister because I was excited for her family to try them. I had dropped off her box on the way home only to find my box had 16 donuts and the flavors were split differently.
This experience put a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. Worst service in a donut shop I've ever had. To say the least, I will not be...

However, my only complaint was that the young lady who took my order did not know what she was doing when making my latte. She put my flavoring in the bottom, then milk, then ice. I had a dumbfounded moment after this. She did not even mix my drink. Then when I thought she would brew fresh espresso from their beautiful espresso machine....nope... she walks over to the refrigerator and pulls out pre-made espresso. ???????? You don't do that! Espresso is completely different than coffee. It brews at a higher temperature. It starts to break down after like 30 seconds if not mixed with sugar. Any barista or anyone who watch the espresso videos on YouTube knows this.
I would go back, but only for fresh espresso next time.
I went back. Never again. Why even have an espresso machine when you use espresso concentrate? They don't know what they are doing when it comes to coffee. Stay away if you...
