Staples — Local services in North Manheim Township

I went into the store recently with my mom because she hasn't been in a Staples store in a while and wanted to walk around a bit and kill time before we went to a appointment. Long story short if you know what you want it's great to come to the store get it and leave but don't walk around because they'll follow you throughout the entire time of walking around especially if you have kids that are a little rowdy and on the spectrum. Other than that they have anything you could possibly want they have a huge selection of pens and they're the only place that I can find a pencil that is a triangle shape which is easier to write with for kids with sensory issues but other than that I wouldn't recommend hanging out in the store just go and get what you need and leave because they'll suspect you of theft they'll just follow you the whole store it'll be very uncomfortable. One lady actually stood there and was staring at my kids while we were trying to take pictures of them in the crayon stand where you could put your face in it was super cute but she was just standing there staring at us and it was so awkward and weird and then I saw her go to the register and shook her head as if she was saying no they didn't steal anything to her friend at the register so it was really inappropriate and weird and creepy at best. So don't bring your kids here definitely and I guess just get what you need and get out don't walk around if you need to waste time go to Ali's or giant or something you won't get followed by employees for no reason. I've never experienced this in New Jersey or in Lancaster or in New York either these are all places that I've lived and being new to the area and being close to a Staples I figured it'd be cool to just walk around in there get what I need cuz we did get pens but other than that yeah don't stay in the store...

I bought an Amazon Firetick Friday 11/15/19 around 8:45pm. I called after they closed he said you'll have to bring it in tomorrow and take a look at it. We came in at 2:15pm. to return it the assistant manager was called over that I spoke to last night. He looked at us and said that didn't come from our store are you sure you didn't buy it somewhere else my employees don't even access to the stuff. It smelled like nasty cigarettes and I observed him smoking out front on the way into the store he insisted we switched them and my fiancee and I never returned anything to to Staples we have a rewards card that can be track after the head store manager took over he swapped it out we only did it because he was very professional and we still are very upset on being treated like a criminal this is far from over I will be contacting corp offices and the BBB I might call a civil attorney bc I was accused of theft basically....I'm a business owner in Schuylkill County and never ever would defraud a store as well I shop there for all my supplies. Also the product wreaked of stale cigarette smoke and is a smoker just find it funny how defensive he got when I returned it.

Ive been to staples alot I always have to buy more business supplies for my company usually great service today ahh I was not trying to haggle I was just being realistic time isn't my friend but I figured I leave a review there was a chair on display I've notice it the past few weeks I have to go in and grab things alot my chair finally got warn out so I ask for help and said can I buy this chair he asked do you want the display or new it would take an 30 to an hour to put it together if I get stop by other customers longer I don't have that kind of time I'll buy this one. Oh it's gonna be another 20 something dollars for the chair..WHAT FOR ONE THAT IS DISPLAYED. That has been sitting here for weeks and ppl have sat on over twenty dollars so I now have to waste time to wait for the call and drive 25 mins to pick up there chair it's not about the 20 it's the principal when I'm less irritated I remove..

Now I'm pissed bring home falls apart does not want to latch back if my kids would of sat on this it...
