Everything was super tasty! I haven’t found a great ramen place since living in Lancaster so it was really nice to have one come around here. The kitchen staff were all very friendly. My favorite was the strawberry tea though! Super delicious!! Recommend the Miso Ramen!
Edit after second visit: However, i’m pretty disappointed in the attitude of our waitress during the first and most recent visit here. She made us feel very unwelcome both visits. During our most recent visit, she was not paying attention while taking our order and we had to repeat ourselves. Our appetizer came out and we still did not have our drinks. Multiple walk buys and we eventually had to ask to get our drinks. Seeing as other people have had similar issues, it may be a bit before i come back for dine in. I would love to continue to support this restaurant through take-out orders though!
She did end up apologizing at the end of our meal for any delays. Although we did still feel unwelcome when we first sat down and through the ordering process. Just some cheerfulness could fix that issue...
Read moreI was excited to try this place out! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the waitress/cashier was exceptionally friendly. I ordered a variety of dishes, including steamed stuffed pork buns, scallion pancakes, takoyaki, chashu buns, miso ramen (with kimchi and bean sprouts), Sichuan shredded pork with shrimp fried rice, and Japanese passion fruit tea.
While my experience was decent, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. However, the chashu buns stood out with a flavorful sauce. The miso soup also impressed me with its rich and savory taste.
On the other hand, the steamed pork buns were juicy but lacked flavor, and the passion fruit tea had an off-putting bitter and floral note. The takoyaki was just okay, and the scallion pancake was a letdown, feeling like a hollow, fried shell with only a hint of onion. The shrimp fried rice was unremarkable and didn't leave a lasting impression.
Despite this, I'm eager to give them another try and explore more of...
Read moreCalamari was great. However, the ramen was just ok. My friends an I have traveled just for ramen so it's nice to have one in our area. If it wasn't in the area for us we probably wouldn't be back. The ramen broth was the let down it was really underwhelming, and no spicy options. It does do the job if you just want a bowl of ramen so I'll be back for that reason. The Bok choy is whole I wish they would slice it up to make it easier to eat. I do love that they add the whole egg not just half like some places so that's a plus. As far as a good bowl I'll still travel for one of them. I order calamari from everywhere I go that has it. They probably had the tenderest calamari and the sauce was really good. Only thing would be wish the batter was a little crispier. Went on opening day, definitely room for improvement, so I'll change my review if the ramen...
