Winn-Dixie — Local services in North Miami

Winn-Dixie is a wonderful supermarket. They've been around, longer than I and my mom have been alive. And I'm 55 years old. They used to call them the beef people. All the stores are clean. Great customer service. Employees are wonderful, and very helpful. Handicap disability parking lot free parking. Disability access, for restrooms as well. Great Meats. Great sales. Become a member. It's very simple. You go online. And apply. You will get perks. What do I mean by that?. You earn points, towards gasoline, at any local Sunoco gas station. And with membership, you get too, enjoy the buy one get one free items. And all year round, sales, and discounts. It really is a great place to shop. They have a wonderful Deli, and food court. They sell delicious rotisserie chicken. And Spanish style food. Their macaroni and cheese is to die for. I take my hat off, to the CEOs, of Winn-Dixie supermarket. Do NOT go in the morning to self checkout & ask the girl manning the self checkout any questions. She always wears a long skirt & looks nice but should not be in customer service. Last week I went to get my students ice cream (I am a teacher working summer school). I asked if there was ice - she looked behind her & said nope. Ok….

I asked the manager - he went back to get ice. Like ??? You couldn’t have been nice & asked?? Thank you at least to the manager!

Just now - I asked her if I could sign up for a Winn Dixie card. She said no, my sign up machine is broken. Eh? No other solutions then? I thought of the WD website & went on there on my phone & signed up. She doesn’t want to help you or offer ways of doing things - she doesn’t care.

Other than her, store & rest of employees are great. But because of her, I’m not coming back - I’ll go to the other Winn Dixie...

The last part of my review was a year ago. Fast forward.... I know ppl have emotional support/ companion dogs. But seriously come on now. You can look at a pet and see there's no tag, collar, or anything to identify them. Y'all just letting anything go now huh? I will not patronize this location with dogs Everywhere.

Everything must change. Even demographics. This once was a thriving supermarket and chain. Decades ago. It's trying to hold on to its quality and brand. New faces & recent changes may save it if it don't change to one of these overpriced, cluttered ethnic stores with bad lighting & overripe produce smell. 😁 It's a huge convenient store for the neighborhood locals. One way in same way out I'm sure is against building code and the fire marshals. 🔥🚒. Can't wait to see...
