I will not lie, thee food is good, BUT this guy who owns this place is very confused of where he is! 1st his prices are ridiculous like he thinks this place is in Miami Beach & 2nd he stop let'n people eat there so he doesn't want to give personal service anymore since the pandemic to not have 2 hire help or clean up after anyone! Sad because he has JEM of spot with a great low income community to serve & he takes advantage with his ridiculous prices! I Been in this hood since 1976 & never seen someone take such advantage of his customers, he'll never see me again! $8 for a cafe con Leche & 1 meat empanada, come on man, not even on the Beach would I have paid that! I think I just got scammed 😂 - I was charged $6.00 for a cortadito and a tostada. There were no prices posted for coffee or tostada, so shame on me, I guess. But srsly, like another reviewer said, these are like Miami Beach prices 😆😆 And it’s all to go, no dine-in since 2020, so you’re not getting table service or real tableware for the high prices. I really liked this unassuming latin diner. They offer coffee, breakfast and smoothies. I was ready to make this my go-to spot for coffee whenever I'm in the area. But I gave 3 stars because after having 2 coffees at the diner while I waited for a breakfast order to-go, I asked for a cup of water on my way out but they wanted to charge me!
