A friend & I were out after going to a craft fair. She suggested we stop in so she could grab a bottle of something for her hubby for Christmas.
The exterior is deceiving as to what is on the inside! So in we go & are immediately impressed with the overall decor & feel of the establishment.
Right away, we are met by a woman dressed as a female grinch in the main entrance / giftshop area - she (didn't remember her name) was very welcoming & helpful.
We entered into the main serving area and were looking for direction & a little bit of an education on the liquors they sell - yes, they have more than whiskey & bourbon. In addition, they have Vodka, Tequila & some desert type liquors.
We were approached by a couple of employees who were more than happy to help.
Eric, who wears his signature his white framed glasses đ was our guide for the visit. He was extremely helpful in recommending & assisting to pick out a couple of bottles for gifts.
They do offer tastings of what the sell, which is fabulous, prevents you from spending money on something you'll never drink đ.
We then grabbed a table to continue our education! We opted for a flight of craft cocktails.
This was so much fun. Making cocktails is a true craft. Each bartender is experienced & focused on making certain cocktails on the menu.
You are given the cocktail menu with the ingredients & a selection card, where you write the numbers indentifying what you would like to try.
Then the magic begins! Your selected cocktails are made & brought to you. The waitstaff will review with you what you ordered, and boom, you're on your way to tasting some of the most fantastic cocktails.
Sip slowly & taste all the flavors in front of you!
Questions? The wait staff is right there for any questions without hesitation.
In addition, they do offer a limited munchie menu & a food truck arrives at about 2 p.m. if you want something more substantial.
I would recommend this to everyone looking for a unique experience & will be taking my peeps for sure that visit from out of town.

Read moreThis was a super cool experience! If you like trying new things but canât make up your mind on what to try, this is for you! You read the menu and choose the âflightâ you want. A flight is basically a cocktail sampler. Just like the full size but smaller. We decided on the flight of four each. My bf had the coconut sampler that was listed at the bar and not on the menu and I had a four flight from the menu. They came out as 4 half size cocktails each. Lovely presentation and they didnât skimp on the alcohol. Very well done and not over powering. Depending on what you choose you can have strawberry, blueberry, watermelon, tea, pepper, coconut etc. mixed with your favorite spirits. I love pumpkin and had a full size cocktail âoh my gourdâ off the pumpkin menu at the bar. Delicious! Smooth and creamy pumpkin flavor and no nasty alcohol bite! The atmosphere was perfect. The tables had room around them and you could easily have a conversation without having to yell. Very nice for lingering while you sip. Since everything is custom-made, it does take a few minutes for your drinks to arrive, but itâs worth the wait. Itâs everything that I anticipated an upper end tasting distillery would be. I only gave four stars because the service we received wasnât what I wouldnât expect from an upper end establishment. It was our first time and the waiter did ask. Unfortunately, he was grumpy and didnât want to answer any questions or provide any suggestions. He gave us the menus and ran off. He also didnât bring any napkins, which wasnât polite since all of the cocktails have garnishes and thereâs nothing to wipe your hands or face on. Other than the service, I donât have any complaints. For the price you spend the drinks were spot on. Definitely check it out. The drinks...
Read moreThe only reason we had no interaction was because there was no front end staff to greet and direct patrons as we arrived. There were 10-20 people already in the front area, there was no host or cashier up front, a few minutes later a gentlemen went to the host stand, a group that came in after us walked up and evidently put their name on a list, the host completely unaware that the other groups had been there for a while already, we put our names on the list and were told it would be a "few minutes". At a little over an hour we left in frustration that we felt lied to about the time, with zero attempt to let us know that it would be longer or apologize for the wait (standard business practice in service industry) In addition to our standing there clueless for over an hour for the "few minutes" wait, we observed several patrons grab inventory and stand at the register only to get so frustrated as to have to hunt down the host to cash them out. So, maybe I missed the extra staff for the busy holiday weekend, but I do know that had we been told anything over 30 minutes wait, we would have left. your staff said "few minutes", not 15/30/45 and definitely not an hour (update--my apologies on the dig on quality, since I did not taste I asked friends/family who have tried and said they are good---rescind my comment on training for inside staff since we didn't make it that far) ----original post below______extremely dissatisfied. waited an hour after host told us a few minutes. clearly understaffed and under trained for the service industry on a busy day. left without being seated. no bourbon or spirit is worth that wait, well maybe...
