👎👎👎👎👎 If I could give it zero stars I would. The manager actually accused me of trying to steal orange juice! This was our first and last them visiting this establishment. Some of our party, including myself had ordered the buffet. When we originally sat down I ordered my coffee and orange juice. After I got up for my second plate no one had asked me if I wanted more orange juice. Seeing as the juice machine was directly across the buffet stand and not inside the kitchen, I thought I had to get my own orange juice. (There is also no signage.) As I began refilling my own drink the manager approached me in a hostile manner to let me know guest were not allowed to use these machines and actually took my cup. I was in complete shock that I would be accused of trying to steal a glass of orange juice that cost less than my lipstick. And while I appreciate that our server was so apologetic we will not return. There are so many other restaurants in this area where we have been treated with much more decency. If she had any tact she would have simply offered to get my refill for me, and kindly let me know those machines are not for guest. Classless. 👎👎👎👎👎

This was our family’s first time visiting Sunny Side Grill post-pandemic. We loved it just as much as we did before and were pleasantly surprised that it is just as we remembered. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and was always well stocked. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. Our server Jacklyn helped us feel right at home. I’m a bit of a mug snob and my daughter and I enjoyed their delicious coffee served in their high quality personalized ceramic mugs. I can’t wait to enjoy a little of Sunny Side with my morning coffee when I return home. Until next time.

We enjoyed Sunny Side up so much, we went twice! We ordered from the menu - our grits were not as warm as we would have liked but had a great taste however, the other items (pancakes, scrambled eggs, bowls, bacon, the house potatoes were DELISH, omelettes, and even the sweet tea and coffee were faves). What made us go back was the service - Mira our waitress was attentive, welcoming, on top of things… we came back the next morning, unplanned, and she remembered EVERY ONE of our drink orders! You can find good food… but excellent service is hard to come by!

I've only been there one time. I stopped to get a quick lunch while I was on my way to visit a sister office to the office that I work in. The service was fine. Someone greeted me as I came in and inquired if I was going to be eating there or getting something to go. She let me sort of browse the menu while I was standing right there at the host stand. I wasn't even sure that I was going to order anything, but I did end up eating there. A BLT wasn't on the menu, but when I asked about it, they said that would be no problem. It comes with fries, and when I asked how the fries were, the server said that they were really good. When the food came out, I wasn't overly impressed or disappointed. The BLT comes on standard white bread, no bigger than your normal home PB&J sandwich white bread. I always find that to be frustrating, because that's a pretty small sandwich to be paying somebody else for. It tasted fine enough, but the tomato slices weren't thick, and I'm of the opinion that a BLT is a tomato sandwich with bacon. The fries were fine. They're certainly not frozen, and they do have seasoning on them, but I wouldn't rave about them. They're fried potatoes, so that's always good, but they're certainly not in my top 10 fry list.

Again, I've only been there once., So, I can't really speak to the quality of the food or the service. However, all that's to say, that I would definitely return and give the place another shot. I mean, it's a diner, so there's not super high expectations. It's convenient, quick, reliable, and unpretentious.

Also, it's my understanding that there's a breakfast buffet, but by the time I got there, it had been broken down. An older couple came in while I was eating there, around 12:30, and we're disappointed that the buffet had been broken down already. Not sure if it was broken down prematurely that day or if that's just their typical time to break it down. But that's something to keep in mind; the breakfast buffet is not available...

We visited while SC COVID-19 infections were among highest in the country. When our waitress was even wearing her mask, It was pulled below her nose constantly. Other times it was pulled so low her mouth was exposed while she was waiting on our table. I was seated so I had a view of all the waitresses and the hostess while we were there. They were all pulling off their masks while they were filling cups with drinks. They were pulling off and on their masks with their gloved hands, with which they were then touching the glasses, then serving the customers. The Hostess was mask-less much of the time we were there. I wouldn’t recommend going here during the pandemic. I feel very at risk after visiting this place. Also, my waffle had no warmth to it, the pat of butter would not even melt. Be safe, go elsewhere. We ate at another restaurant last night, and they followed safety practices to keep everyone safe, this...
