If I could give zero stars I would. I can’t comment on his store, but I can comment on his way of handling business and all I can say is DO NOT sell anything here. My husband brought in comics and not knowing I had 4 NYX comics set aside with one being worth well over $400 he gave my husband $70 for 30 comics. All of which were worth money and just lowballed him to death. Here we are homeless, pregnant trying to get by and he pretty much steals food right from our mouth. I called to buy them back but go figure he sold them and all 4 of the nyx for about $70 yeah right!! Bad business for sure, could of at least paid us $200 and would of made it a little better but nope. Avoid...
Read moreThis is an amazing, small, well stocked comic book store. I was lucky enough to meet the owner today and he was extremely friendly. Even though they were super busy, he still took time to chat with me. He was even kind enough to let me bring in my ESA dog while I shopped. The comic book selection was so incredible, it would have taken days to go through all the boxes. I am extremely happy for this store as they just opened another store in Monticello!!! I also think their Sunday morning Magic The Gathering tournament is a phenomenal idea! I hope to be able to go to it soon!! Thank you, Creative Comics for your hospitality today!!! Can't wait...
Read moreI'm starting to make it a point to stop off here when I visit my mother. The atmosphere is laid back, and the people that work there are extremely friendly whether you're new to comics or just looking for something new.
Also a great place where you don't immediately feel judged when you walk in the door--I've had that happen on a few occasions, and Creative Comics is definitely incredibly welcoming. They also have a LOT of stuff for a small space, which is dangerous, especially if you're a binge...
