Great expeirence at fleet feet. I have always run casually but wanted some professional input for purchasing shoes to train for my first half marathon. The person who helped me (Mark) was very patient and informative. He took his time with explaining the foot scanning process and how each measurement translated into features i needed to look for in my ideal running shoe. Based upon those results he made shoe and insert reccomendations, and helped to evaluate my gait and stride as i tried each in the store. I left the store very confident that the shoes and inserts i had chosen would be the best choice for my needs. I also appreciate the exchange policy that fleet feet offers in the event that my shoes do not work. Amanda was great! She asked me tons of questions about what I was looking for, scanned my feet and also had me walk on a sensor pad that showed my feet and how I actually walk. (How my feet hit the floor)

With all of that in mind she brought out three styles (brands). They were a little big so she ordered a size down from the wearhouse. She said they would be in next week... They arrived the next day.

My doctor recommended the brand of shoes (Hoka) but I was unable to find the pair the would fit my needs and feet on their website. I am so happy to have been able to go into this store and get expert care and recommendations!

Katie helped me on the next day when I tried on the smaller size and fitted me with insoles. Both ladies went above and beyond to help me!

The perfect example of what specialty shops have to offer: knowledgeable, efficient staff and a little something extra compared to doing your own research and buying from Amazon etc. In this case the something extra was a fancy-dancy foot measuring tool that gives you objective sizing and other measurements. They also email this to you for future reference. The first pair they gave me was the only pair I needed. It fit like a glove and was perfect for my specific application: trail running in the winter months. Put 5 miles on them right after I got home and was glad I trusted their recommendation over my initial preference. Exceptional traction, fit, waterproofing, and stability.
