Pat Dees Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Northfield Center Township

11-25-23 My husband and I have been going to Pat Dees for about 15 years. They have always been, in our opinion, better than the rest of the bar restaurants in town. We live very close, so they are our go-to place for quick easy, reasonably priced food and drink. New owners have been there for bout 4 years, nothing has changed. We always go there for pizza. Hands down, the best anywhere you'll find. Until about a year ago. The pizzas now are hit and miss. You never know what you'll get. We've had pizzas that were so good that I gave the server money to give to the cook as a tip. Any more, it's different. We had pizza tonight, it was a 4 out of 10. No sauce and under done. Being short handed doesn't make it okay to be short tempered and rude. This was our first time at Pat Dee's for breakfast and it will be our last. First the server throw our breakfast plates down on the table. My wife asked for jelly she slammed the jelly rack so hard on the table the people setting next to us were startled. After 20 mins we had to wave her down for a 2ed cup of "endless coffee". The food was very good and nice portions, nothing bad to say there. Ordered some take out from Pat Dees using Door Dash. Very reasonably priced compared to other area restaurants...but that was the only positive. Grilled BBQ chicken was not grilled....more boiled....also rubbery, absolutely no seasoning, and tasteless. Would never order it again. Rolls that come with it were nothing fancy...identical to the King's Hawaiian you get at the grocery store. Just not the type of quality I look for when eating out. Was not impressed.
