We had them replace a pet screen on our patio door. The price extremely reasonable, and they did an excellent job installing the new screen.

But the reason that I wrote this review was that whoever worked on the door also recognized that the door latch was installed backward, making it very awkward to lock the door. We lived with it like that for years, never giving it much thought. The installer at Hoffmans Ace flipped it around, and oiled the hardware so that it now works like new. No extra charge. I didn't realize it was fixed until I got home and installed it.

It was a very minor thing. I didn't ask them to do it, they didn't tell me they had done it, they just did it because they had a skilled craftsman who saw the problem and acted on it because it was the right thing to do.

Service like this just doesn't exist anymore. To whoever worked on my patio door at Hoffmans Ace Hardware, THANK YOU! I wish I could give you more...

Called inquiring purchase of battery for garage remote...knowing I didn't have much time before work I asked on the phone where they were located and advised right by with paint Dept. I arrive head to paint Dept and ask the lady associate who stated she was the one who answered my call. She was MORE than helpful. She also answered questions about paint, type to use on paneling. Cashier was equally as nice and helpful Customer Service wins me over.. and when an associate can point you directly where you need to be to find something...that's service. I will...

It was a few months ago I came in literally 5 minutes before close… (I’m so sorry I didn’t even read the door!) I came for a can of butane and was immediately helped and greeted at the door. While the older lady cashier rang me up she asked if I had a reward card. I said I thought I did. She tried to help figure out which number I had (while there were 3 people in line 5 til close…. She was very helpful and I appreciated her trying to find my account even on crunched time. I don’t need to go to this store very often but it’s always a positive...
