If inefficiency and abysmal customer service were Olympic sports, this Chipotle location would undoubtedly take home the gold medal. It's utterly mind-boggling how a supposedly functional establishment can consistently miss the mark with such precision.
Today's episode of ineptitude began with a simple mobile order for a burrito bowl (chicken, rice, beans, and cheese), the culinary equivalent of tying one's shoes. Yet, even this basic task proved insurmountable for the staff at this circus of incompetence. Despite the app promising a timely pickup at 7:00 PM, I found myself standing in an empty lobby, twiddling my thumbs while I waited for my order.
As the minutes ticked by, my patience dwindled, and any hope of a prompt meal evaporated into thin air. Despite the app's insistence that my order was ready, it was nowhere to be found. Instead of rectifying the situation like competent professionals, the staff opted for a masterclass in incompetence and wretched customer service.
Attempts to cancel the order and reorder in-store, since that was evidently quicker, were met with bureaucratic red tape, as if altering the course of fate itself would violate some sacred decree of inefficiency. And don't even get me started on the labyrinthine nightmare that ensued when attempting to seek recourse through the app's customer service. Error messages and automated responses served as the icing on this dysfunctional cake, exacerbated by the store staff's manipulation of prep times in the system to save face.
After a futile attempt to reason with a customer service representative who seemed just as baffled by the situation as I was, I was begrudgingly granted a refund. However, this small victory was overshadowed by the fact that I wasted almost an hour of my life in pursuit of a measly burrito bowl.
This Chipotle location is a veritable disaster of epic proportions. From their inability to fulfill basic orders to their labyrinthine customer service maze, every aspect of the experience redefines the concept of failure. Save yourself the headache and dine elsewhere unless you have a masochistic desire to subject yourself to...
Read moreAnother food place with the worst service I've ever experienced and I wasn't even getting food. I was supposed to pick a order up for doordash and they asked me for the name about 5 minutes after I was standing there, after I gave them the name they didn't do absolutely anything about it or even communicate with me if they were preparing it or if it would be ready soon. Nothing at all. Another 5 minutes goes by and still no communication whatsoever with them they just stared at me and did nothing about my order. Whole place is trash, the food, the service and the atmosphere in that whole building. Good thing I don't contribute to the trash that stays on service some how. Don't expect any respect from me anytime I enter the building cause ya get what ya give out. Hope the customer puts in a bad review on your location as well because they were gonna cancel there order after what I told them you put me through while waiting then get this her food wasn't even started being prepared after the 10 or so minutes of waiting HA!!!! Want better service just don't go here!...
Read moreWe were in the store this afternoon. For a new restaurant, there are too many issues. The prep area was disheveled, and the employees did not seem forcused. Perhaps it was because they were entertaining their friends behind the counter, instead of focusing on customers. This was our first time at this location, and it will be our last. Instead of making our buritos one at a time, they threw them together without properly heating the wraps. The guy did the wraps 2 at a time instead of 1 at a time. The burritos were not rolled properly, and were torn. A girl quickly wrapped them in foil before we could see them. If the ingredients are supposed to be covered when food isn't being prepared, it wasn't. It was wide open. Our food was cold by the time we drove the 1/2 mile to our home. $23.50 is a little steep to pay for cold burritos. I would highly recommend that the manager or owner have an adult on each shift to monitor what these kids are doing. Non-employees should NEVER be behind the counter at any...
