I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with Sayyar Market Norwood Location, and after giving them several chances, I feel deeply disappointed and compelled to warn others. My first issue was with the bread, which turned out to be clearly rotten and stale. When I returned it hoping for a refund or at least an exchange, the staff refused to take responsibility and dismissed my concern entirely, showing zero regard for customer satisfaction. On another occasion, I purchased meat that was tough, chewy, and completely inedible—it was obvious that the butcher there was cutting it from frozen blocks in the back and repackaging it as fresh, all while charging unreasonably high prices. Again, when I tried to return it, I was met with rudeness and refusal. But what truly made me lose all trust in this store was my recent visit to the bakery. I ordered a meat pita and pizza, only to be treated with disrespect by the woman working there. She handed me a burned, overly thin, clearly pre-prepared pita, and when I politely asked if she could make a fresh one, she got visibly irritated and said she was too busy, refusing to make anything new. She then attempted to wrap the burned pita in cheap plastic, folding it sloppily instead of using a proper box, which is unprofessional and unsanitary. It felt like she just didn’t care and wanted to get rid of whatever was left over. Between the rotten products, careless staff, terrible service, and inflated prices, I’ve had enough. Sayyar Market does not deserve your time or money—I truly wish there was an option to...
Read moreSayar was my favorite place, but recently the quality dropped drastically in butcher market. I have got liver from there 2 months ago, once home, i opened the package and a very bad smell came out of it, turns out it was expired, and last week same thing happened with chicken, 2 pack of chicken tenders and 2 of drumsticks, with awful smells that makes you vomit once opened at home. When I called, I had someone telling me we can't refund you if you don't bring it back the same day, so first, i live an hour and half from there and I go only for shopping from them, and second I called to inform them so they can pay attention to their products because I like the store, and the workers there are so kind. But the person on the phone said he has nothing to do with it, and kept talking about the refund he can't give!!!! 2 months later, happens again, now i wanted to order the turkey for Thanksgiving and I'm not sure anymore if I can...
Read moreTo whom it may concern, Today I stopped by to return a meat item unopened untouched since it has curry flavor, initially I bought 2, I cooked the first one and no one in my house could stand the taste. I was told from the cashier that she needs to call her manger Danielle, while I was shopping around the store and filling up my cart, she got back to me telling that it’s not acceptable. An unopened package!!!!! This doesn’t make any since to me. I left my cart of course and I would never step A foot in your store again unfortunately. I would definitely post this in all my online Arab group on FB so people can be aware of this mistreatment and unjust behavior. The manager Danielle said it’s a store policy it’s writing on every register, but she couldn’t explain why it’s not in the actual customer receipt. Sayar just lost my business and...
