Nygn Games LLC — Local services in Novi

I had two disappointing experiences at Nygn Games in Novi, which significantly impacted my view of their customer service. During my first visit, I was sidelined at the register for tournament check-ins, only to see a non-participant receive immediate service due to apparent personal connections with the staff. Feeling overlooked, I left after about 10 minutes without making a purchase.

On a second visit, hoping for a better experience, I again was not served. This time, the same employee, actively participating in a tournament, disregarded my attempts to buy cards despite his opponent suggesting he assist me. The employee delayed help until his game reached a convenient stopping point at which point he didn’t get up and simply said, “you good?”.

These visits highlighted a clear preference for friends and tournament participants over paying customers, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued. It’s disheartening to see a gaming store foster such an exclusionary environment, detracting from what should be an inclusive...

Today was my first time visiting the store. The owner of the store is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the cards and product. The store overall is neat and well organized, and product is easy to see with a solid variety of choices. The singles are also tied to TCG player which is great since you know you are getting fair prices! I also liked the store’s attention to detail on the card condition, and cards were sleeved to protect the condition, along with packaging the singles with top loaders in the front and back with the team sleeve was a nice touch when taking them to...

Tal was super cool, I took my collection to a few places to sell it all and the only place that didnt flip through and make a crazy offer was NYGN games. Tal actually took the time out and we looked up and over a bunch of cards. I originally told him what I was looking to get and after we did all the math on everything it came up to about 20 bucks less than my asking, he still honored my asking once we were done.
