I arranged to have a surprise birthday party here for my fiance. I was told by the person who coordinates the parties that I caused them to lose money because they were turning away customers to hold our lanes AND SUPPOSEDLY kicked off previous bowlers for us - which come to find out was a lie because my family who was there at 6 said they finished their games with no issues... wow - completely rude and unnecessary. I was pretty clear when I booked the area that this was a surprise party and that we wouldn't be bowling right away, I would have been fine waiting for our lanes to open up, but I wasn't able to get more than 5 words with the woman when we arrived because of how understaffed they were. I think there were 4 employees staffed to the whole bowling alley.. Saturday night and they really weren't that busy. All of my guests were waiting 10+ minutes for a drink, at a bar, no waitress, the workers were literally walking right past us not making eye contact.
Once we were ready to bowl, we were told we had to wait for the entire party to show up in order to start bowling.. amidst the 4 employees running around like there was a fire and as I said I could barely get 5 words, and was also told I would need to wait for the event coordinator to finish what she was doing(raffle tickets) before she was able to help me. No-one knew what the hell was going on. Long story short.. hire more staff - get a little more organized, and it would have been a much better...
Read moreI went here yesterday and I have some things to say.
The alley is smaller than usual, 18 lanes is fine. (Don’t have a problem with this)
Very dull lighting overall. From a glance, the lane lights that shine on the pins aren’t that bright.
Pins are connected to strings. This literally reminds me of the mini bowling games you find at large arcade areas. It just looks cheap. What is the strings tangle? What if they break? Don’t charge people double the price if you aren’t gonna put money towards new equipment.
The hour rate is very expensive. $40 per lane for an hour?! The bowling alley I go to is $27 per hour per lane, and 37 for 2 hours per lane.
Lane conditions are alright. Apart from the visible cracks and bumps in the wood. I think my ball got chipped just by rolling on it.
You have to tell the front counter your group names. That wastes time for everyone. Just let customers use the keyboards in front of their lanes to type the names in. Isn’t that why it’s there?
Overall, I don’t really like this bowling alley. There are better alleys out there you can go to. I don’t want to waste too much money, especially if someone is on a budget. It’s alright if you disagree with me. I’m just speaking from...
Read moreMy man and I were looking for a night in the town and man did we find it. I am a mom of 7 kids so you can only imagine how often I get to ge your and do anything not kid related. I am new to the area and just googled bowling alleys. When I called to find out if they had open bowl Michelle answered the phone with the most utmost customer friendly willingness I rarely ever hear!!!! When we arrived she was all smiles and so willing to go out of her way to make our night special. I couldn’t have asked for a better front desk, waitress, bartender!!!!! I will MOST ABSOLUTELY AND DEFINITELY come back again and again and more than likely have my sons birthday in September here. I will pass this places awesomeness by word of mouth as long and as far as possible and that’s a lot coming from me. It takes a very on point and detailed service industry provider to get me to go to the max like this but she is WELL WORTH IT!!!!! Thanks Michelle. Your a super frieken wonder...
