Ka Hing Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Novi

I wanted to like this food so much, but unfortunately it did not meet anywhere close to my expectations. I ordered the Pepper Steak dinner combination. The first bite was the fried rice, it was great. They were chunks of white rice, not mixed, near the bottom. The second tasting was the Pepper Steak. This was the worst Pepper Steak I have had from an American-Chinese takeout. It smells like the Pepper Steak I'm familiar with, but the when you bite into it, everything is just wrong. Tough and smelt spoiled after chewing. The same occurrence with the egg roll, it was crunchy and smelt good, but once I bit in, it tasted like sour-spoiled vegetables coated in oil. My husband and I stopped at this place today for Chinese take out. This was our first time there..I chose it because of the reviews. Thought by it being also in NOVI, MICH. It might be a good place.
