This is my second time visiting this location and experiencing racial profiling and on 09/10 around 3pm I took it upon myself to bring this very important matter to the attention of a Manager. Unfortunately the manager I approached by the name of Shon was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, aggressive in the manner in which he spoke to me and dismissive. He was not concerned with my grievance, only concerned with expressing his personal pride of Hawai’i. (The island that God created and the only one that has ownership of the island and everything else.) And sharing that racism doesn’t exist in Hawaii. As I shared with him yes there is racism on the island and yes it can come from people of color that have been born and raised on the island. He was VERY offensive and upset about that truth. I myself have been referred to as N from a local native as well as told that I don’t belong on the island by a local native. Many African Americans I know deal with the same disgusting racist behavior. And those locals, natives that aren’t racist should hate that and correct that seeing as how Aloha means love and Hawaii has African descent, that is not proudly acknowledged. That in itself is disgusting, despicable and speaks volumes. Instead of acknowledging and correcting that wicked behavior, like Shon many just take offense to that truth and keep that hate alive. Because of his personal feelings Shon did not represent his managerial position with integrity, he spoke at me disrespectfully and did not care. He felt comfortable speaking at me in that way and not caring because I’am an African American Woman. I’m sure if I was Caucasian and or local, he would have spoken to me with Aloha and respect, he would have been concerned. He showed what was in his heart and may God have mercy on his soul because you can’t hide your truth, what’s in your heart from the Lord, the ultimate Judge. I have reported this behavior and will see how the General Manager cares to rectify things on account of my despicable experience at this location and disgusting unprofessional treatment from the stores manager Shon. It will take more than an empty apology. I pray for those that have hate in their heart for others, based off of their race. 1 John 2:9-17. I do forgive him and I pray the manager Shon examines his heart, repents and reads over those verses and any other person with wicked hate in their hearts. Treat others how you want to be treated. He may have a wife and or daughters, definitely has a mother, how would he like for a Man to speak to and or at his loved ones. In a disrespectful, deeming way. I’m sure he would not. Rep ALOHA Correctly and to all. I asked him if his employees are trained to profile and his response should have been absolutely not and he should have been concerned and want to hear my experience, so that he could actively and urgently correct those that need it. African Americans are humans too and not the enemy. Locals should see us to as their brothers and sisters and that is rarely seen. But I definitely see a lot of hate. And...

A FIVE STAR rating for Costco wholesale in Waipio, for their awesome product guarantee return policy. I purchased my vitamix in 2014 came with a 7 year warranty, yesterday morning on April 14, 2019 while preparing my pre workout smoothie in the morning the gears on the base slipped and shaved off its teeth.

My option was to wait up to 2 weeks for a free replacement motor base from vitamix or try to see if Costco will refund me for my purchase so I can upgrade to a newer model.

To my surprise no there were no issues customer service rep was great, she found my purchase history in their database and I was granted the refund.

Costco wholesale Waipio also supports this vitamix product by stocking their shelves with my favorite berry, kale and açaí smoothie mix that is great for my nutritional program to support my 6 day a week Spartan Beast Race training program. See attached images I was an obese guy on meds at 41 years old now at 49 years old I can take on any full body fitness challenge next to any aged bodybuilder that takes Pro hormones or steroids.

The ONE STAR rating is not for Costco wholesale it’s for the Caucasian female Vitamix sales rep that worked that day, gosh she was so rude. I let her know how much I loved this vitamix product but inquired about the warranty policy and wondered if Costco would honor a refund. Man she went off by telling me to go to another location to process my refund cause my refund will affect her daily income. If she wasn’t a female I would have gone off on this person, but I apologized to her cause I told her this vitamix is a key tool to support my training program.

As I proceeded to go behind her display counter to grab my product she kept going off blabbing about me negatively affecting her income. I politely kept apologizing and grabbed my product and walked away.

I didn’t get her name but she was a slim figured Caucasian blond female possibly in her late 20’s to early 30’s with a seriously bad attitude, she needs to be disciplined for being so rude to a customer that was about to spend over $500 for a upgraded vitamix product.

We shop at Costco several times a month for our staples and also for seasonal foods and items we can only get from Costco at certain times of the year. If you have the storage space and enough people in your family to warrant bulk shopping then warehouse buying is usually the way to go. Most of the time Costco's every day prices are cheaper than even the sale prices at the markets and department stores.

You can also purchase gasoline there at a huge savings over a gas station and they also have a tire department if you need new tires for your car.

Costco also offers a Citibank rewards VISA credit card. You get between 1% to 4% rewards benefits that are paid to you in a check when your cycle ends. Depending on what you use the charge card for you can end up with a nice rewards check once a year that can be cashed or used to pay for your purchase at the register. Whatever leftover bonus money you don't spend is given back to you in cash. So if your bonus check is $400 and your bill is only $200 you get $200 in cash back. It's a great deal and my favorite part of having the rewards card. You can use the card anywhere VISA is accepted.

Costco has a pharmacy where you can pick up your medications and you will find a little bit of just about everything in the stores. Most of it is food products but you can also get household items, appliances, automotive, hardware, electrical items, furniture, electronics, paper goods, cleaning items, over the counter pharmacy items, fresh flowers and orchids, freshly baked pies, cookies, breads, and pastries, cigarettes, liquor, ready made cooked foods such as a roasted chicken for around $5 and...
