Ninja Sushi — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Ordered my sushi platter on 12/30/17. Gogi is the on how took my order. On 12/31/17 a women called to verify my order said that’s it’s ready to pick up, I sent my husband to pick it up and it was not ready. So I called them back and talk to a girl who answered the phone and I ask her to talk to the manager she gave the phone to Gogi and he was yelling and telling me that they have a lot of orders I told he I orders my platter yesterday and you took my order and then you folks call me and tell me it’s ready to be picked up and my husband went there it wasn’t ready. BAD Customer service! He was telling me they have Customers who order a year in advance. I told him that is not my problem you guys are busy why did you call me and tell my order was ready. I’ll never do business with you guys again taking my money somewhere else....

Walking in I automatically felt welcome (I’m an afro-latinx from the mainland). I got the salmon special and an additional salmon nigiri order. And the lovely lady at the register suggested I get garlic mayo on my salmon. So I got it on my smaller order. The woman at the front was so reassuring that I could take my time and gave an upbeat positive vibe the whole time. Lots of ‘Aloha’ spirit. And when I tell you it was so satisfying! All of it was so good and the garlic mayo was a delicious addition. The service and the sushi was excellent and well packaged. I will be back...

The spicy ahi and unagi bento was excellent. Staff very friendly I gave 3 stars because I went about 7pm and the rice in the bento was excellent, the nigiri sushi rice was old and hard. I had to throw out the rice and only ate the fish and shrimp toppings. Staff should throw away the rice when old. Bad experience. I may try again this location as every company makes mistakes.
