So glad we went to Jaffe as they were amazing! 3 Jeweler owners with many years in the business , all work done in-house and Veteran owned! Also a very generous Veteran discount. I just wish we would have started there first! I would like to share my experience...First a little back story...So my husband and I wanted to get my bridal set resized and the 3 pieces soldiered together after not being able to wear it for many years. Not knowing much about Jewelry we stopped by the "big name store" down the street from Jaffe (won't mention their name but probably easy to figure out) . They (the big name store) gave us a quote of nearly a grand to do the work...and told us it would be ready in three weeks and they would call us if the estimate required more money. When we went to pick it up they had written our number down wrong and didn't do the work as they needed an additional $250.00. We picked the rings up and went to Jaffe....wow what a difference! We were comfortable from the start and there wasn't a "car dealership feel" with 4 sales people/customer. Just 3 owners all three of whom took the time to answer our all of our questions and took the time to educate us about the process, show us with the optic what needed fixed and discussed the condition of our ring. We even got a tour of the shop where the work would be done. The cost was half of the other Jewler's original estimate! Overall we saved $750.00 over what we were going to charged at the other jeweler. So happy the "big name store" wrote our number down wrong"! They advised it would be about a week to get the work completed and we were educated on the amount of time needed and how the pricing structure worked. This was late tuesday afternoon....we were called on thursday and advised the ring was completed....WOW....just WOW It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all expectations. Tisha, Jim and Stephan truly cared about making sure we were satisfied with our decision. Honestly it was the most comfortable we had felt in a process unfamiliar to us.....We highly recommend Jaffe Jewelers and would advise anyone looking to buy their engagement ring or jewelry needs to go there first....they will take the time to educate you and make sure you know exactly what you...

Where I grew up, our entire extended family had a relationship with our local independent jeweler. Our trust was implicit and necessary. I had assumed that was an antiquated notion in an age of online retailers and chain stores and since moving to Dayton decades ago I did not expect to find anything comparable to that relationship. Instead, most independent local jewelers lacked access to a truly quality inventory while the chain stores only had cookie cutter inventory that I found was not that interesting. We came upon Jaffe Jewelers initially during the Christmas season to obtain some repairs and purchased a few small pieces. We were recently looking for a signature piece to commemorate an important life event and discovered a VCA piece that is never present at either local stores or chain stores around Dayton. We missed out on that particular piece but after meeting the new management and discussing what we wanted, they began looking for options. After several weeks they found a magnificent West Coast designer piece that was exactly what I was looking for. Jim and Tisha went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable with the piece to ensure it was exactly as we wanted. We’re highly impressed so far with all aspects of Jaffe and would highly recommend. Jim and Tisha go the extra mile to work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied.
