It’s always interesting to hear the opinions of others that don’t live in this community, but bring their children to this park and complain. Loads of weekend warriors that DON’T PAY OAKWOOD TAXES to maintain the park but want to save money on a trip to Kings Island. As a resident who actually lives in OAKWOOD and ON THE STREET OF THE PARK, please show some semblance of respect to the area you're touring for free.
How do you do this?
Stop standing in the middle of the road like you are entitled…
Stop letting your children wander the streets unattended…
Stop dumping your cigarettes in the street…
Stop blocking driveways…
Stop speeding through the area…
And finally … stop showing how base of a human being you can be. It’s easy to spot someone not from this community simply for the fact that this community has manners.
When your car door is open and your unloading your day pack and 3 kids out of the back seat, don’t give me the middle finger because you think I honked at you while you block the road… maybe pay attention to the women you came with who is grossly overweight and leaning over the steering wheel of the car you came in and honked it with what I assume was her gut.
Be better humanity… or go be unruly at...

It also has swings, tennis courts, and bathrooms. We like to rent the pavilion for birthdays. The pavilion has a little area of grass next to it that is great for activities. Parking is great, nothing right next to the park and no dedicated parking but we have never had a problem finding parking. I do with there was more shade, and I’m not sure the splash pad and sand pit make a good combo. Kids end up bringing sand to the splash pad, getting wet, then covering themselves with sand. Also, it’s October and the bathrooms are locked shut and the water fountain is off…I wish they’d at least give a heads up sign as we were suddenly stuck without a potty and...
