Horrible experience . I most likely would have dealt with less frustration ordering online Direct . I went through the store because I believe in doing business with local businesses when possible . Timeline of events: Ordered on 11/25. Upon inspection of receipt determined this was the wrong orientation. I called the store and physically went in to talk to the sales associate. I showed the picture of the email I sent to the associate. The order was updated with a notation and I was assured that the correct orientation would be ordered. Email with a screenshot showing the correct orientation attached "orientation email with screenshot" shown and confirmed in-store on 11/25 Email requesting ETA sent on 12/4. No response. Called the store and was told the week of the week of the 18th Email sent on 12/12 requesting confirmation of correct orientation. No response. Called store. Was assured it was correct. 12/11 received a phone call informing me that sofa would be ready and schedule for delivery.in addition to this sofa had a huge tear on the back. Not the delivery companies fault as I watched them unpack it. Informed the store via email with pictures and phone call of the issue. Called store on 12/18 confirming eta for delivery. And that delivery fee be waived since I already paid it the first time and product was defective and damaged. 12/19 called to confirm emails were received. Emails have been sent to I was advised to send it to. When I spoke with associate B. I was told that the email address I was provided is not one that is checked. Informed associate B that associate A told me that the email she advised I use is not checked.. two different email address provided and both parties that provided the two different email addresses are telling me that neither one of them are checked by the other. 12/22 delivery driver calls to inform me that the sofa is on the way and enforce me that there is a delivery fee. I do a three-way call with the driver and store confirming that the delivery fee is waived. Delivery driver arrives solo. No partner. Fortunately my husband was home to help unload the furniture and bring it in the house. I call the store again and inform them that there is only one person here. That the last delivery had two people to bring the product in. She then informs me that the last delivery people were fired due to the last sofa I received being damaged. I inform her that I took a video and sent pictures and that the damage was not due to the delivery drivers that it was at the factory. I once again advise her to look at the emails that I sent along with the screenshots clearing the last delivery drivers of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: its been a year since we've had the couch and it already has a broken spring under the recliner on the end which is strange. I noticed this because it wouldn't recline and I'm kinda bummed because there is no reason for it to be in that condition. The couch makes a lot of noise that sounds like clanging metal and doesn't seem to be very sturdy. I'd still purchase from this store again, but I wouldn't choose this couch. Lol.
My husband and I needed a couch thanks to the flooding we had in the recent storm. We had about an hour before the store closed (this was on Saturday), so it was towards the end of the day, but we thought we would go just to have a quick look. When we walked in we noticed another couple in the store looking at furniture who was being helped, so we started looking at couches. While Loxley was helping the other couple, he did not ignore the fact that we were in there and he made sure to swing around our way to say hello and give us some quick details as he was walking past us while helping the other two in the store. (Multitasking, lol)
Because of him we will be getting a couch after all. He was very kind, patient, extremely helpful, and worked with our budget and situation and we appreciated all of those things. As I said, it was towards the end of the day, but Loxley didn't rush us out nor did he push us into buying anything and he made sure all of our questions were answered before we left.
We had already went to two other furniture stores prior and I was not in the greatest mood but Loxley turned all of that around and truly made our day. He had the best customer service and we will definitely make this our go to furniture store!!!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHello potential furniture buyer. If you are anything like me you jump right to the Google reviews, and I'm glad you did!!! Legacy Furniture is a little hidden gem here in Ocala. So hidden in fact, I found it by accident. We need to change that! Ocala is full of big box stores that have lost their collective minds with their pricing. Not everyone in Ocala is a doctor or in the horse business so why is it 3k plus just to get a decent sofa? It shouldn't be and it's not at Legacy. I had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Gavin, the owner, greeted me warmly and his sales associate (I'm so very sorry I've forgotten his name ) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I knew exactly what I wanted and fortunately they had it! The best thing is, I didn't have to sell a kidney to purchase it. Even better, they have flexible financing should you choose to go that route. Crazy thing? I walked in, picked it out, paid for it in all of 20 minutes! No sleazy sales pitches. No pressure. Gavin is a genuine good guy trying to provide a reasonable service to us little guys while supporting his family. It's up to us to spread the word or all we're going to be left with is big box stores, or worse yet, American Freight. Ugh. I highly reccomend Legacy Furniture. Period. I love my new leather sectional, i know it is high quality and will last much longer than the cheap stuff elsewhere. I also love that there is a David standing up to these Goliaths. Give Legacy a try. Please support local businesses and tell your friends too. You'll be...
