If I could put 0 stars I would, and I wish I knew the managers name from this morning he was a gentlemen with light brown hair make in his early 30s..we woke up and drove over and hour away to be at the store over and hour before open to get a hatchimal that said online was in stock. We were 2nd in line and given a ticket because he said they had 2..when the store opened they tried telling us they were unloading the truck still and didn't know..when asking the manager again he tries telling us the online inventory is wrong. Well hours later an employee (Thank you so much Andrew, you are an amazing employee and deserve a raise and some appreciation and I let coprorate know that!! Thank you for being an awesome person and making my daughters dreams come true, you brought tears to my eyes, the world needs more people like you!) Told us he doesn't know why the manager is playing games that he saw the box in the back and he took some out, while another employee was whispering to someone about how he can't get a hatchimal for her right now. So we go back and get the manager tell him what weve heard he still lies to us tells us there isn't any. At that point my husband who is hours late for work kinda lost it..then within 2 minutes the manager had us a hatchimal, a hatchimal that he pulled from behind the counter that he had been hiding the whole time!!!! I have never felt so disrespected and I have never seen such a corrupt store with a manager that doesn't have any care for his employees! Don't let people lie to you, what ever happened to customer satisfaction!! The manager really watched a line of people wait for 4 hours while he had them all along. The lady with number 1 sadly had to leave for work and she should of had a hatchimal, what a shame, terrible manager!!! I hope every little girl and boy that wants a hatchimal can recieve...
Read moreFirst off, it's Target. Do not expect greatness in any way. But it's not too bad for what you expect. The parking lot seems more like a free for all. Although it's not cramped for space, it seems like the lay out causes more confusion and such than it should. Trying to get in the store can be a battle between actually parking, then not getting run over by overly enthusiastic drivers. The parking lot and store front could definitely be cleaner. But it may be an exercise in futility, with the clientele. If folks have no desire to keep things clean, the folks who clean up after them are fighting an up hill battle. The inside of the store did not seem filthy. But, it could have been cleaner as well. But to be fair, it wasn't that bad, and I've seen way worse. The shelves seemed well stocked in some areas, yet not so much, in others. The employees about the store didn't seem very enthusiastic about their job and basically ignored us the entire time there. But again, to be fair, we were not looking or asking for help in anyway. I just felt invisible with no eye contact or even hello from these folks. A nice surprise was the was actually a few registers open when we went to check out. So we were out pretty quick and didn't have a long wait. Even better, the folks at the register seemed decent also when we were there. Not overly friendly, but did have some interaction. I hope this is the norm which would make the rest of our experience a little better, if so. But honestly, that was the only positive part of our visit. So if you keep in mind where you're going. And you keep in mind that this type of store tends to attract clientele that may not help your experience. Well then it's not that bad. But if you go expecting a nice shopping experience that's sunshine and roses, then you're probably going to be...
Read moreShame on you Target: Considering that the employee checking me out at the register when I kindly tried to correct her on her error regarding the promo for the gift cards and that she still owed me another $5.00 gift card which is why I separated the orders I had to try to make it a little less confusing for her. She checked on her little hand held but clearly did not read the full description and just completely dismissed what I stated as though I was instantly wrong. And then had the audacity to say you need four of these items and i politely stated itâs â4 personal itemsâ and she said hold on a minute and acted like I was inconveniencing her even though sheâs getting paid to do her job. And there were â5â personal items on the belt! I just went to buy things for my family especially for my infant. But she clearly isnât there or cares about the customer. Older lady just there for a pay check. Because if you cared about your job youâd pay attention to the new ads that come out on Sundays each week so youâre slightly aware when a customers tries to just correct the error. But after I was about to leave. I looked up at her and she slightly rolled her eyes to the male customers that were behind me. Saying â ahhh sorry about that and started laughingâ. Iâm so thrilled she found my purchase funny and her rudeness is acceptable behavior by Target. But shouldnât the management team go over or instruct their teams when promos are going on or is that not a thing. Target ocala is the most rude and frankly racist store Iâve been in. I never go in store for that purpose. Get your...
