I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend California Collision for any automotive repair needs. Recently, I found myself in need of assistance with my vehicle and had quite the experience with three different service providers, with California Collision standing out remarkably in both service and integrity.

Initially, I sought estimates from two different services: a local Toyota dealership and CarBodyLab. The dealership estimated $200 for replacing a side panel, while CarBodyLab quoted me $300 for the part and $100 for the labor, I explained that I have the part. I was only missing one screw. However, two days later, they revised their quote to $300 for labor and $100 for parts without any satisfactory explanation.

Feeling uncertain about the estimates I received, I visited California Collision for a final opinion. Upon arrival, the gentlemen at the shop greeted me warmly and took the time to thoroughly examine the panel. To my relief, he quickly assessed that everything was intact and only required a single missing screw. I just bought my car and my front bumper was ruined. I showed up to a local Collision Repair center in Oceanside (Crash Champions) because they are an authorized repair center for my car insurance. Unfortunately they could not take me in and their earliest date to receiving my car was one week. I was a little disheartened and, while talking to my car insurance agent, I googled for another repair center in the area and thankfully came upon California Collision Center in Oceanside!

My car insurance agent and I called them and Ted picked up the phone. We explained my situation and asked Ted if we could bring my car in for repair. He kindly said, ‘Yes, bring it in.’ I couldn’t believe it! I drove my car a few blocks over to California Collision Center. I dropped off my keys to Ted et al, and they efficiently checked me in and even gave me a ride to work in Carlsbad! I felt taken care of and in good hands. I was very thankful, in the end, that I stumbled upon California Collision Center!

They took a few weeks to repair my vehicle. During that time, Ted and I kept in close contact and he provided me an almost daily update as everything was happening—I didn’t expect that and very much appreciated it. Once my car was ready, Ted called me and said I could come and pick it up. I arrived after 5pm with my rental car, and California Collision Center even closed out my rental car and returned it for me! That was going the extra mile and that’s what California Collision Center is all about!
