For a store that claims to be CHRISTIAN it is a major let down and a disappointment. The current store manager gave me a racist vibe because on 2 occasions when I’ve gone to this Hobby Lobby to do my shopping I saw how he was raising his voice at an employee who couldn’t speak perfect English. He did this in front of myself and another customer. He’s a somewhat tall Caucasian male. They also seem short staffed as it takes a while to get someone to help with items on the top shelf. The restrooms are also not very clean, they have permanent stains on the walls, floors and toilets because the whole building itself is very old so there’s only so much you can do with an old building I’m sure. Aside from that the service is okay, sometimes you have to wait in line for a while before they call another cashier but I’ve noticed that hasn’t changed in the past 3 years. There was better managers but this recent one I’ve noticed is not very friendly when it comes to the employees (at least what I saw) and when I’ve had to return some items he doesn’t smile very much and isn’t very friendly or talkative and rushes you off. If you’re going to claim to be a Christian business don’t condone this behavior and let employees be disrespected by their peers and don’t hire awful people to...
Read moreAfter doing some research on a Vynil remover solvent, I searched the internet & found that Hobby Lobby had a few available in stock. I drove here to see if I could buy a few bottles and to my surprise, I found it no where. I looked for someone to help and a lady at fabrics offered.
She was super helpful at assisting me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately we didn't find anything related to what I needed in her department so she advised me to ask the front for help. I thanked her and went to the front to find someone that could possibly pull it up in their system.
I asked a cashier if they could help and she referred me to another woman walking the front with an iPad. I told her what I was looking for and she didn't have a clue. I mentioned to her that I had the skew number provided from the website and she replied, "that would tell me anything, I can't find it that way". Not totally her fault but if their website states they have plenty in stock it should have an isle number and section to where you can find it. Totally not the case here.
Super frustrated with the whole situation so I left. Unfortunately they will not get me business today and it wasn't totally the employees fault but they do need to either find or figure out where their...
Read moreI love hobby lobby, but I don't get how they can have a full section of things on the sale rack, for instance, "Christmas", and say it's not on sale because it's a certain tag, or whatever. But it's Christmas? Not to mention the very disrespectful, rude woman, CONNIE, telling us, "No. It's not on sale. Even if it's there, it's not on sale." Continuously arguing, just stating that's not the "sale" price. She gave attitude, didn't apologize that any of those items were in the wrong spot, and just kept shaking her head at us like she wasn't going to go look or even hear what we had to say. They literally just opened, and she wants to be giving us attitude to start her day. Hire more understanding or at least respectful, happy people, and put y'all's sale items in the right spot. Because apparently Christmas items and other Christmas items aren't...
