I just had an interesting encounter with a lady that works there. I ordered from the app and drove up to pick up my order. When I got there, I put in my stall number, #10, and didn't have to wait long before she came out. She said they didn't have the item I ordered. No surprise, the last time I went there, 3 months ago, they didn't have what I ordered then either. Which prompted a 2 month interaction with Sonic to get my $9 and change back.
She said, do you want something else, or do you want a refund. I said, no, no refund, the last time I got a refund from this place, it took 2 months to get it back to me. She said, that wasn't me, that was the company, I told her I was aware, I wasn't meaning her, I meant her company, as an entity. She sighed and asked me again if I wanted a refund or replacement, I said replace it with something of equal value, what do you suggest. She said I don't know, pick something. I said, a taco salad, is that equal? She sighed and rolled her eyes and said she didn't know. She was done with the conversation and so was I.
I told her, you know what, just refund it, never mind, at this point, I didn't want some kind of revenge happening to my food. At which point she said whatever, and told me I needed to go to church as she walked off.
I called my wife, informed her of the mishap, she tried calling the store, they hung up on her. So, not only did I not get what I ordered, I will probably have to wait another 2 months before I get another $9 and change back from this...
Read moreI come sometimes and have experienced minor issues before but tonight was just too much. I was there from 7:40-8:30pm 9/9/25. In order online and got there and put my stall number in. I wait for almost 20 minutes even though it was two drinks and 4 snacks. This included 2 pretzels with cheese, 1 bbq chicken wrap, 1 small chicken bites, including 2 cheese dips for the pretzels, one bbq sauce and one buffalo sauce. They bring it out and I’m missing a drink and my cheese. Turns out one of the drinks wasn’t on the receipt so I got ahead and order and pay for a dirty Dr Pepper and inform them that I am missing 2 cheese dips for the pretzels that I ordered. Soon they bring me one and I tell them there was supposed to be another one, they say it’ll be right one. Soon I get my drink and I wait a few more minutes and no cheese dips so I just leave. Get home and start eating and I see I was given no sauces that I ordered other than that one cheese dip they gave me. Obviously this isn’t that big of a deal and I know they’re working hard but I think they should make sure to give out the correct amount of condiments ordered because I have faced this similar issue when...
Read moreI ordered through the app, one of the items was unavailable so I asked the employee if they could refund the money. She went and asked and was told they would. I received a receipt that showed I should get cash back, I told the employee this, she argued with me about it and I asked for the manager who also argued with me and said that the money would go back on my card in 3-4 days. I told both of them that it said "cash due to customer" and not that the money was refunded. The manager was extremely rude and wouldn't listen when I tried to show her about the cash due part. The item was less than $5, so it's not a ton of money, but if they're doing this to other people and not actually refunding the money it could definitely add up. The money never went back into my account and it's been a week. I have contacted customer service and dealing with them is taking forever too all over $5. I just don't want other people to lose money at this place. They should update the app to keep people from ordering things that are unavailable. I've never had this issue at any of the other locations...
