American Freight Furniture & Mattress — Local services in Oklahoma City

I went into the store looking for a mattress set to replace my old one, after being approved for financing through the American Freight website. I was greeted when I entered the store but not harrassed or pressured by any of the emplyees in the store (which I was very appreciative of). After about 15-20 minutes of browsing, I decided on a mattress that I wanted. The store employee, Hannah was very pleasant and nice. She was able to check and make sure that the mattress I wanted was in stock in the store, which it was. Once confirming availability, Hannah was awesome about getting me through the process of finalizing the financing on the mattress set and getting that all squared away and then getting delivery scheduled The delivery was scheduled for the next day.

Delivery was also pretty seamless and ther drivers were very nice when delivering the mattress set. Unfortunately, I did not realize until very late in the night when setting everything up that the wrong mattress had accidentally been delivered. I called the store first thing the next morning and spoke with an employee of the store (I believe he was the store manager) and explained the situation. He told me that he would have the drivers bring me the correct mattress and swap them out by the end of the day. Three hours later, I had the correct mattress!

All in all I was very pleased with the entire process of shopping with American Freight and will be returning if I need anythign else in the future. I'll also be recommending them to anyone I know who might be looking...

The reason for my poor review isn’t due to the actual product or pricing but rather the customer service. We were not greeted, approached, and when we did have questions about the mattresses, our sales representative was short and seemed irritated at our questions with a curt “well which one, there’s several” instead of walking over with us and explaining anything, he just walked off and came back saying they had one in stock. We actually really liked the mattress but didn’t want to spend our money there due to the poor customer service and lack of professionalism. After looking around we decided to return and purchase as the furniture WAS decent and well priced. Once again, Christopher (I believe, I don’t know as he never introduced himself but was the name on the sales sheet) was short, rude, offering instead an uncomfortable exchange and a very noticeable disdain for customer relations. The next day we show up and politely asked how we were supposed to proceed with pick up. We weren’t sure if we just went to the back or the front and he rudely replied “ well you’d have to do both, or you’d just be sitting in the back with no one knowing” but the tone was off putting and reestablished our terrible experience. I like our purchase but seriously almost regret spending my money here due to this interaction. Side note, the guy that helped us load our mattress...

I've had nothing but problems with this place. We picked out a couch and put a deposit on it. When we came back Friday we were told that they don't have that couch and to pick something else. Of course everything we wanted they were out of but we ended up with a sectional for the same price. We paid, were told it would be delivered the next day, about 4 pm the next day we still didn't have a couch. When we called they said that they were behind on deliveries and it might not come until the next day, of course that would have been nice to have been I formed that it wouldn't be there. Fed up I told them I just wanted my money back, they then told me that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Again, would have been nice to have been told about that, we finally got our couch the next day, they gave us the wrong cleaning supplies (they gave me leather and wood polish for a fabric couch), Ashley told me she would call me back to tell me what they were going tell do about it, here it is 2 days later and still no call. I paid for the warranty just to not able to clean my couch. Go somewhere else, they have good prices but it's not...
