The incredibly long delay at the only checkout lane open tonight, appeared to be the sole result of waiting for the female at the customer service counter to bring out a drawer for the sole checker to put in his register so that he could begin checking out the growing line of shoppers at his register. Naturally, he was moving and functioning at the speed of cold molasses running up hill. And it was this lengthy wait that was the ultimate cause of the absurd physical altercation which broke out between your loss prevention personnel and a male customer.
So as the line grew, it spilled across the main aisle, and quickly became disorderly, partly because of shopper traffic passing through the line. The store is not configured to accommodate long lines backed up an any single register. There is no clear delineation of where the line should form as it grows, so customers begin lining up disorderly.
Then there was the mad black female who came in the store to confront the white man in the line who had apparently "talked" to her daughter, as she peppered him with obscenities and threats that we all could hear quite well. I was surprised how far the moronic ghetto behavior of this mad black woman and the white man she confronted progressed, before SOMEONE from the Crest staff responded to reign in these adult children. It was also interesting to note that although the white man was ordered to leave the store immediately, the out-of-control obscenity-screaming black woman was not asked to leave the store. Proof that black shoppers matter (more than white shoppers)??? Point being: If Crest's staff had kept the checkout process moving so as to prevent a line forming in the first place, NONE of this stupidity would have occurred.
Finally, after a different black woman with a full shopping cart cut in front of me and my two items in the ''line,'' instead of pointing out that I was ahead of her in the line (thereby risking another episode of ghetto obscenities and/or a full on race riot, with possible shootings???), I decided to approach the customer service counter, thinking that the female behind the counter might see fit to check me and my two items out. Nope! As I approached, she said "I'm closed," as she leaned on the counter seeming to be doing absolutely nothing else. With that, I decided I had wasted enough time waiting for Crest staff to get their act together, all while risking the possibility of another idiotic and infantile ''outbreak'' of ghetto, possibly resulting in a riot, by leaving my items and then...
Read moreWent in this evening. The store isn't Customer friendly. Signs on the bakery are there. Parts of this area is Open and Parts are closed and they don't have any Herman's slaw not in the Deli. Why not make everything along there Open to the same time??? It looks stupid because there are people working along there but allot of its closed. Gone. The store Signs outside say Open 24 hours , but part of the store is closed. They keep making reasons NOT to try to get ANY Groceries there. Several trips, who thought of this?? Supposed to be a Groceries store. Bakery young man wasn't very good at explaining why the hours are difficult for people.
Was going fine until the check out. Person before me. He only had 1 thing. But the self register won't work correctly for him. These are different than allot of places. So then . My turn machine kept messing up and so I tried to enter my card, ' which is an option ' I got told that I didn't need to do that. , it didn't work. And so finally I got it to work. Lady was nice. She just wasn't there when the machine kept messing up. This was happen to me before. The registers where a person check you out. The employees talk to each other about trouble at home and ignoring they are supposed to help the customer. I like the roast and produce. Employees act like they don't want to help anyone. They work. Just slow, very slow. Hard to get things done and back to my land. I have talked about it to management. The employee does that same thing. Just a don't care attitude. Sad. Because it use to be...

I could have told him "Shut up and called him names" but choose not to. I went to front desk and told (there was an old white man outside the counter and a black lady inside the counter), I let them know what happened. told them it is lane # 7 guy, I am not sure they did anything and does not seems like they do or even talk to him. just wondering how could someone with crest uniform do this kind of thing in a work place and he supposed not to do it like this. also, I was not his friend. I like going in crest cause it's Oklahoma owned, and I try not go to other places. I guess I will never ever go in crest from today. it's really pisses me off and still bothering me. when hire people crest should educate their employee at least little bit what they can/cannot do or say. Anyway, he should know that all brown people are not from India. People with all color, race lived in okc and in Rockwell area. He should not do that...
