Speedy Wok is definitely OKC's best kept secret. If you've been lucky enough to stumble across Speedy Wok from reviews online, driving by, or simply word of mouth then you can say you've had the best. I've tried many restaurants around the U.S. and even many here in Oklahoma City. Speedy Wok, while smaller, has a very close to home feel. The best dishes I've tried are the salt and pepper shrimp (very flavorful,) general tso's chicken, garlic chicken, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, and their lo mein. These are my go-to main courses, all very delicious. Appetizers, if you like crab rangoon, you have to try theirs, I love their chicken wings, fried dumplings, and teriyaki chicken. I have taken all my friends and family here and everyone has loved it just as much as myself. They offer brown rice, which many chinese restaurants dont. They also have healthier options, dine in, take out, and delivery, they have it all. You must try this restaurant out if you're even remotely close to the area, if you're not, make the drive because...
Read moreMe and husband have been ordering here for about a year and I'm disappointed in regards to the food and customer service from the owner and his son . We ordered general tso chicken , garlic chicken rice , we got home and when we opened our food we were very disappointed , the general tso chicken wasn't fresh , very dark brown and hard as a rock and rice hard and old , so we didn't eat it , then proceeded to eat the garlic chicken and bit into it and wasn't cooked properly , blood in chicken , wasn't done , yuck! We tried to call them that evening and no answer , called next day and the adviced the son about the food , he stated his father never hardly makes a mistake when cooking food, he was arrogant and rude , yeah right . I told him we want a refund , went to get refund and his father apologized and refunded our money . It's sad when people won't take responsibility for their actions , me and my family not returning . * Always check ur food before leaving...
Read moreGreat experience. I was immediately greeted with a friendly hello when I walked in. That’s really important as it just bothers me to be spending my money somewhere that you don’t feel appreciated or recognized. Also had a brief friendly conversation with the folks working there. Very nice people.
Food: This place, go here when you want the Chinese food you expect. It’s really good quality and at an affordable price. Too often around OKC I’ve found that Chinese food is dry and gross. Like being offered reheated leftovers from three days past. NOT here. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious.
Also the egg rolls were gynormous and delicious compared to the dried out logs most places pass off as egg rolls or the crap from Panda Express
Price: ridiculous affordable. I should have paid $2 more per plate due to the quality of the food. Think 2010 prices in 2024.
Try his will probably be my go to Chinese food place for the foreseeable future and I think it should...
