I love this place. The owner is a wonderful woman who was happy to share info about the food and make suggestions. Many items where is Russian (I think) so we had to ask.
I am a dumpling fan so got the meat dumplings. They look great but still have to try them.
We got a dark rye bread which is absolutely amazing. I miss the wonderful breads from NY. This is a rival to those.
My husband and daughter are candy buffs so will be busy sampling all of their treats.
We sampled some cookies. I am a fan of the soft, dark, bread-like cookies that come from Russia and northern Europe. The cookies she had were spot on.
I've thought about cooking borscht but haven't because I wasn't sure what it is supposed to taste like. The owner recommended some and explained how to prepare it. I am looking forward to trying it and discovering a new soup.
English is not the owner's native language so be patient with her. She is a generous soul and will find the words she is looking for.
Definitely give this...

I have met so many great people from my country as well as Russia, Poland and much more! I highly recommend anyone American or Non-American to visit. Also there's concerts during the holidays which are free to attend, but donations are appreciated. дякую Ірина/спасибо Ирина! Это Віктор(Виктор), случайный...

It's too early to judge, and we should be thankful for the effort put into bringing in European products from New York. I drive from Sacramento to Arkansas, and when I stop by this store, I’m grateful to find European essentials like kielbasa, something Arkansas doesn’t have. It's a blessing compared to fast food, and it's something we should all appreciate here in Edmond. Give it time, and you'll likely...
