My bridesmaids took me here for my bachelorette party and it was such a fun experience for all of us! There’s a plethora of options to choose to paint and I felt like that was the hardest thing was just picking something. I went with two “rice” bowls, which turned out perfect and I’ve already used to eat out of. Do follow the instructions on the table when painting and do several coats so the colors turn out vibrant. My friends and I found it very therapeutic painting and find ourselves rather focused. Be mindful as this can take anywhere from 2-3 hours to paint since we chatted in between waiting for the paint to dry before adding another coat and depending on how many items you choose to paint. Moreover, we were a group of 6 and were able to find a table to sit at on a Saturday afternoon. There are various tools and colors on the back wall if none of the colors on the table are what you want. Once you’re done, you’ll bring it up to the cashier where they’ll have you place your piece of art on a shelf and for you to pay. It also didn’t take too long until you pick up your final piece! Overall, it’s such a cute spot for get togethers and for a date. I will definitely...
Read moreNo artistic license. I’ve been working with clay for years. I didn’t want to go through the work of bringing out my clay, making an ornament, and then painting it. My son is 8 months and barely gives me the time to do the dishes. I came here to put a handprint on an ornament. I appreciate the advice but I was aware of the effect mixing the crystal glaze would do, and thought it was beautiful. I had to go back and forth with 2 employees in front of other customers while my baby was crying. Employee even showed me a picture of the effect which is what I wanted. Now I’m going to have to find time to wet my clay, let it dry, cut it to ornament shape, fire it, glaze it, and fire it. Taking my business to...
Read moreIt was an amazing experience, definitely may need to plan ahead if you want to detail your artwork on the potteries available because painting and adding details does take a couple hours especially if you're a perfectionist or detail savvy. They have everything available for your use such as paints, stencils, brushes, detail tools, and so much more. It is $7 per person but the piece you paint is another charge as well with tax. So be sure to keep that in mind especially with larger families, I spent a total of $102 for a family of 4. We did end up spending about 4-5 hours there to paint due to the intricate pieces we all painted. Just keep time and price in mind. The staff...
