This specific location has given 7 different incorrect orders in a row. I don’t often leave reviews and I kept telling myself they were just busy and made a mistake, but at this point it is ridiculous. They have left off whole items made me wait 20- 30 minutes to get the item and still giving me the wrong thing three times! I’m not even sure how it’s possible to mess up orders this consistently. Last time I ordered two different Smoothies and One breakfast quesadilla one breakfast flatbread. They gave me one smoothie and the quesadilla and a wrap. I had them correct the food item and let them know I was still waiting on the second smoothie. They gave me the corrected food item and told me I was good to go, but I still didn’t have the smoothie so I reminded them again. 15 minutes later they give me a second smoothie, but when I get home, I realize they gave me two Blimey limeys, instead of one blimey limey, and one kiwi quencher.
Another time they left off a whole food item, so I went inside to get it. I watched an employee tell the boss three times that one of the customers had received her pick up order when she had not. The woman spoke only Spanish, so I had to tell them that did not give her their order. I was sure she was not served because I saw the whole thing since it took them 30 minutes to make the kids turkey sandwich.
Another time they told me that the meal did not come with a side (apple), even though I’ve gotten it many times and it does. Even so, I accepted what they said, but somehow they still end up putting two bags of chips in the bag. If they made a mistake to tell me that there was no side why not give me the apple I asked for instead of two random bags of chips that were never mentioned.
Today I got one blimey limey and one breakfast item. The blimey lime taste like mint (mint is not an ingredient in this smoothie). I’m assuming that means that they are mixing all of the smoothies with the same tool without even rinsing it off. That has to at least be an allergy risk, right?
I have never complained to them in person and have always told them “It’s fine, I will wait” because I understand how hard fast food is and the staff is usually very young. Read moreI placed an order via the app on May 4th.When I arrived at the store for pick up. The doors were locked eventually a plumber came saying the building flooded. I went check in the app to see if I could cancel it and it could not be canceled. I went back to the door a guy came and said it’s closed and I should receive a refund in a few days. I never received a refund. The past few weeks I have emailed and called no help. So today May 25th 2025 at 11am I went the store for my refund I showed the manger the transaction in the app and also my receipt from my account and still no refund. He gave me a number 405-204-1196 for Jessica his store manager and I got no answer just repeated hang ups. When I told the manager in the store about this he acted as if I did something wrong. And yelled to the employees to play that shit which I assume he was talking about the music. But it was completely rude because I am losing my hard earned money. It all seems so simple to check the profits they made on May 4th during the closed hours and just return everybody’s money. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Give me my money back!

Read moreI’m a little late on this review, but I had to give a shoutout to the team at the May Ave location! On Thursday, April 17th, I was helped by a young gentleman in the drive-thru who was so sweet and professional. I visit this location about three times a week, and I’ve noticed he’s always quiet, focused, and clearly a hard worker.
Even during a moment when I was impatient (and I knew I was wrong), he continued to treat me with nothing but kindness and respect — and that consistency says a lot about his character and customer service skills.
The drive-thru is super convenient, especially since I travel for work and love visiting Tropical Smoothie locations across the state. I can confidently say this one is by far the cleanest I’ve been to. The whole morning crew deserves credit — they’re always on point and start my day with great energy.
