Went there to get 2 boxes of canning peaches. The top of the box was big beautiful peaches. When I got home and started setting them out on the counter to finish ripening so I could can them. This is when I noticed the bottom 1/2 of the boxes was filled with horrible peaches. They were bruised and the size of apricots. I called and they apologized and told me to bring them back and they would exchange them. I asked them to pick out 2 good boxes and set aside for me since it was a 10 mile drive to make this exchange. Jay's Farm Stand: they have fruit n veggies, pretty basic produce needs but they also have more exotic things like jalapeños, ginger, kombucha and salsa and chips. Take and heat-it-up-at-home baked goods. A large fridge filled with a variety of chilled drinks. Local roasted coffee. Dried meats and cheese (not too many but its there not that I want more just saying). They have a sign that says they have Fresnos but I havent seen them.

Since we moved to Olympia almost two years ago, I have been practically haunting this place- 2-4 times per week....Right around the corner practically from where we live. They have every thing I need and more...the whole nut bins in the fall are terrific, as are the eggs, produce, fruit. They even have heavy whipping cream, and the MOST delicious pitted dates...plus, spices galore, and LARGE bottles of vanilla...unheard of at the fancy grocery stores... the prices are low, and I am very impressed with their decision to appeal to the customer's...
