We happened upon this place with a large group coming back from a service trip. It was a Wednesday night, and every Wednesday they have this cool woodworking group that meets out back in the summertime. We met the owners who seem to lead this group and they were warm and hospitable, even inviting us to the table. Out back there is also a large field and some balls and toys for kids to play with as well as picnic tables for families. The vibe here is really great! The pizza was decent and had good quality ingredients including homemade sausage, but I found both the sausage and the red sauce to be a little lacking in flavor. To be fair, I'm a big and bold flavor person, so if you like things a little more plain, you may like both the red sauce and the sausage. The other ingredients were fine, and they have a variety of different and interesting pizza toppings and sauces, which is why we stopped there in the first place. My coworker got a pizza with alfredo sauce or some other kind of white sauce, and I thought that was a little better than the red. All in all, a really cool place off the beaten path with a great vibe and decent wood...
Read moreStaff are SO RUDE! We showed up at 11:45, knowing they open at noon. We were willing to wait the 30 min the server said it would take to get going. We were standing around waiting and all the while the server was loudly saying how it takes her an hour to set up. My father-in-law tried to sympathize, saying it must take a while to get the oven up to temp, and she snapped back that the problem was getting "all this" set up. He again tried to sympathize and say we're willing to wait a bit. She then said "I already told you, there are several orders ahead of you and it will be 30 min." Meanwhile, the other staff member seemed very upset that we were in the way while she was setting up, and said in rude tone, "I'm going to be going back and forth through here a LOT." So we realized we were a major inconvenience to this business and decided to go elsewhere. Won't be going back. That was the worst interaction I have ever had at a restaurant /food truck. It's a shame, because their pizza and cinnamon rolls are great, but they will lose customers if they continue to treat...
Read moreBeings a little generous with 4 stars. I found this little pizza spot on google in search of a good pizza joint since there is no Grimaldi’s around here. Pizza was okay, I liked the dough and the cook on it. It wasn’t chewy like old school pizzeria however the sauce was very bland and so was the choice of cheese. My search for good pizza continues but I’d stop in for a cinnamon roll. My husband devoured it. Service was meh, tables were dirty even though the place was empty when we showed up. I wasn’t in the mood for a sugary beverage so I opted for water so the brought over a pitcher but it tasted like it was tap from the sink, I don’t do tap. I’d suggest getting a filter. We were greeted when we walked in which I appreciate the acknowledgement of my presence. I wouldn’t say I’d never go here again but I wasn’t blown away by the...
