I have been with the Cynthia House for a collective of about 3 years now. Under the guidance, direction and structure of the owner, Zach McGuire, I have slowly but surely been able to rebuild my life as well as reinvent who I am as a person. I came here a broken and defeated person, lost to my addiction, with quite literally nothing but the clothes on my back. I owe this beautiful and amazing life I have today to Zach. He is a principled man who genuinely cares, deeply, about the women in this house. He is not motivated by money and the structure, rules and expectations he has created for this house and it's members are designed to help us succeed, and that's exactly what any woman will do who comes here seeking a new way of life. Succeed. I live my life today based on what I think Zach would do in any given situation, as he has been an amazing model for recovery and his judgement and decisions always seem to steer us in the right direction and produce the best possible outcomes. This house has become a home to me. I've built the most beautiful, healthy, fulfilling and amazing relationships with other women in recovery here and I am able to co parent my daughter in this house. I work in the recovery community and the Cynthia House comes highly recommended by facilities all across the Omaha metropolitan area. I would recommend THE CYNTHIA HOUSE to any woman who's serious about her recovery and building a life worth living. This is an AMAZING house!! I had the absolute privilege of living at the Cynthia House. The Cynthia House has become a focal point in sharing my experience, strength, and hope. So many times I tried and fell until I went to the Cynthia House where I learned to become self sufficient while building strong bonds with my new sisters.
