I come here often since the impossible burger was launched. I've never had problems but I always check my food. Today I received a burger made from animal products. I was very disappointed. I do not consume meat for personal reasons and I've not consumed animal products since 2014. When I brought my burger back into the restaurant I was greeted and told my burger was the impossible burger. I was asked if I wanted a remake before someone else came around to take a look at the burger. This individual confirmed it was real meat and offered to remake it for me or for me to receive my money back. I appreciate the professionalism in situations like this but I question how a dietary sensitive item was allowed to be cross contaminated so blatantly. As a GM in the restaurant business, I question how the employees are trained regarding handling the impossible products in stores. I would express caution to anyone who chooses to eat the impossible Whoppers from this location, up until now I've not had issues, but one time is enough to scare me away.
My suggestion to management would be to train the crew how to differentiate between the two products and ensure this doesn't happen to another customer again. The employees at this location are definitely friendly, but they should know their products well enough to spot a food contamination issue, particularly being that there are individuals filing lawsuits against burger king in regards to the already problematic issues with cross contamination.
Again, awesome service, disappointing experience...
Read moreMy boys were still hungry at 10:30 tonight so I thought I would run and grab some cheap food to feed them without cooking. I pulled up to the drive through and asked this young man if they still had box meals and he let me know they didn't. One of the largest parts of the menu board had 3 different whopper meal choices so I said "okay I will just take 3 of this whopper meals but with cheese" he replied " three number ones with cheese, and what to drink?" I said my drink choices and he gave me a price of $24 something. The math didn't add up so I asked when I got to the window. "Aren't the whopper meals $5?" Employee "they are but you have to say that. You didn't specify the meals" Me " I said the meals you said number 1's" Employee "You said with cheese and those don't come with cheese" Me "I can't get them with cheese?" Employee "you can but you have to say that the drinks and fries are different sizes, next time you come through you have to say that. I can change it if that is what you want" Me "yes that is what I want" Employee" shuts the window on me while muttering under his breath shaking his head pushing buttons on his register. I started to record so I could be sure he didn't spit in my food. I have never had such rude service at a Burger King. They mess up orders but up until now they were at least...
Read moreI ordered dinner for my family bout 3 weeks ago. I sat in the drive thru a bit thinking I was getting fresh hot food.I was only person in drive thru.I was disgusted at what I found when I got home. Its obvious everything was thrown in the microwave to heat it up and not in the fryer. My wife's sandwich was still cold in the middle. I ordered a Chi'king. I bit into a luke warm sandwich that was basically battered piece of leather.I tried to cut it and the knife wouldn't cut thru it so I threw it away. I reached out to corporate office that night and I was advised I would receive a call from the store manager in 7 to 10 days as I wanted a refund. I never got the call so I reached out to Corporate office again and I was assured I would get a call from store management..Yet here I have waited bout same timeframe and not one call. Its obvious the store manager nor the franchise owner care about their customers especially the ones who have experienced a subpar service.DONT STOP at this burger king if you want a hot fresh meal .I would rather spend more at the competition across the street that I know that I will have a better experience...
