Very disappointing. Not only did they Not get the birthday flowers I ordered at 9am delivered before she left work at 3:30pm but after I called and asked about it at 3:15, expressing my disappointment to the gal on the phone Andy called me back very angry accusing me of hanging up on them and very rudely tried to scold me for expressing my disappointment to his employee. I tried to explain that I didn't hang up on them but he was continually interrupting and being very rude so then I actually did hang up on him. How thoroughly unprofessional for a business owner to speak to a customer that way! I know we all have bad days but Wow!
Update in response to Andy's reply: Yes I know plenty of guys and gals who don't have an issue with that terminology, you're actually the first person I've known to take offense to it. The term started in the 1800's and by definition a gal is a woman or girl. There's nothing derogatory about it and it's certainly not how I use the term. If your gal told you I yelled or screamed at her then she lied to you. I'm not sure how you think I was rude to you on the phone considering you interrupted me literally every time I tried to speak which is why I eventually hung up. It appears from your words and all the caps depicting yelling in your response that you have the same unprofessional emotional attitude now that you had then. For your information when I called I asked if it was even possible to have birthday flowers delivered that morning on such short notice. After asking where they would be going your gal told me delivery would be no problem! Perhaps she should have told me that you had 15 orders to fill and it would not be possible. Or said that birthdays are the same day every year and chastised me for not ordering in advance? She didn't though, she just said it was no problem. I applaud you for standing behind your employees however as a business owner and a person you should really get the facts straight and your emotions in check before responding to customers. I wish you...
Read moreDO NOT RECOMMEND. I've never had anyone talk to me like that when planning on purchasing something.
In response to the owners comment. I never once had an attitude and was going to continue to look around his store and find something until the snarky remarks he made from the back and not to my face. He was very unprofessional. And If they couldn't fulfill my order than they should have said something on the phone instead of giving a time to pickup. The lady up font looked around for a paper for my order and I was never disrespectful to either of them. I will in fact take my business elsewhere as I was more pleased with their attitude and professionalism. I in fact hope my children never have an attitude or treat someone like I was...
Read moreI am a flower shop freak. I have a local florist in Memphis that I use all the time (shout out to Holliday Flowers - best in Memphis), but I wanted to shop local. I googled flower shops in Oneida, TN, which is the middle of nowhere TN and found Andy’s. I called, left a message and they called me back in less than 30 minutes (as their message said they would). The gentleman I spoke with had some great advice, all of which I took, and I ended up with the MOST beautiful flowers, a wrapped gift and same day delivery. They are super nice, so inexpensive and the flowers are gorgeous. Thank you Andy’s for doing such a fabulous job. I...
